Such a special place - privileged to work up on the hill and live only 20 minutes commute further up the beaches. Definitely worth the bucket list and don't miss the walk around to Shelley Beach on a visit.

Lots of activity in and out of the water. Plenty of surfers with their boards, which can also be rented.Long, pretty beach. Several cafes/restaurants, mostly with views.

I can still remember all the wonderful days I spent at this beach and all the great memories with my Really close friends and people I love it's so close to the city yet a million miles away from the world. The best resturants line the esplanade especially ribs and rumbs

I have travelled to over 40 countries and even though I have seen many amazing places nothing compares to the beauty, location, accessibility, surf, bars, restaurants, beach, closeness to a city, peacefulness, people and hospitality. If you visit you won't want to leave!

I think that the beach is so popular because it's so close to the populations centers. The beaches near Noosa Head were much better, as were the waves. However, if you live in Sydney, this is a great alternative
