Busy, fantastic boardwalk and nice and long. Great shops and restaurants the real Sydney, I particularly like the Bacino bar cafe for its coffee.

“Crowded, but fun!”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Typical beach town...the beach itself was super crowded (for a Monday!) but that might be because no one was allowed into the water due to a shark sighting. We enjoyed lunch and then walked the beach before boarding the ferry back to Sydney.

“Jazz Festival Weekend”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

A long time since I have been to Manly and pleasantly surprised at how it has improved. Went on the October Jazz Festival weekend and was surprised that we could sit down and have lunch with meals priced at less than $20. Manly used to be so much more expensive 20 years ago so perhaps it is learning it is better to get volume business. Food was good. There were five tents set up for the festival and large crowds. We spent a beaut afternoon sitting in the sun enjoying the music and ambience.
