We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to the Opera House and were able to see it in the sunlight. A regret can also mean a reason to visit us again in the future, and we hope we'll see you again soon.
The Sydney Opera House is located in Sydney Harbour at Circular Quay. The opera house is a beautiful design and stands out amongst the flotilla of sailing boats.
The forecourt of the opera house has numerous restaurants and bars (that are a little pricey). The views here are all amazing.
The opera house has tours, parking and shops as well as world class opera performances. Just wandering around the outside of the opera house provides a wonderful experience.
An Iconic architecture.
waterfront nice walking area.
good palace for food and drink.
best time to go between 5 pm to 9 pm
Dear Zahid H,
Thank you for your wonderful review, we are so glad you were able to come for some drinks and a nibble and watch the sunset go down by the Harbor. In case you didn't know, we also have the Badu Gili light show on every evening at Sunset and 9:00pm on the top of the Monumental Steps, we hope you'll be able to join us for that too!
The tour was a small group and our guide very knowledgeable on the Opera House. The building is an incredible structure; however, will be undergoing a major renovation soon in the main salon. There are smaller stages, with varied shows. No photography allowed.
Thank you for participating in our tours of the Sydney Opera House. They are a fantastic way to learn more about our interesting history and architecture. Not to mention get to explore our theatres! Due to various copyright regulations and to respect performer privacy during rehearsals, sometimes photography is not allowed in the theatres during your visit. Thank you for your lovely review and we hope to see you back again soon!
Iconic Sydney and world landmark. Take in a concert or simply enjoy a beverage on the harbour forecourt.
Dear Michael S,
Thank you for your glowing review. There is absolutely plenty of things to do in the Sydney Opera House precinct. Many people like to watch world-class entertainment while many others come to enjoy a beverage by the water at our Opera Bar and Opera Kitchen. We even have a free light show each night at sunset to be enjoyed by all. 'Badu Gili', our light show, can be seen by climbing the Monumental Stairs at the front of the Sydney Opera House to the first level.
Went to the "Great Opera Hits" show last night from 5:00-6:30. Was a fantastic show and a great way to experience the opera house. Highly recommend doing if you're here while it's playing. Not expensive either, we had great seats for $65 each. And dress is casual, we saw everything from shorts to coat and tie.
The show Great Opera Hits is an amazing performance to go to because it is an hour and a half packed with the greatest arias of all time. Perfect for opera beginners and seasoned opera patrons alike. Great Opera Hits is playing until the 29th of March before coming back again in July. You can wear whatever you like to any of our performances so by all means, come as you are.
