Great behind the scenes tour of the opera house...architecture is incredible...all concrete and wood with no supporting beams. We were able to see the performance areas-there are several-including the main hall that will soon be undergoing renovations and that will b closed to the public for a year and a half. Nice tour and just the right amount of time.

Visiting Sydney and Aus for the first time. We booked the show just before we left UK. Amazing experience in such an ionic building. Must do. Surrounded by bars and restaurants make sure to enjoy the whole day.

We took the one hour tour and it was very informative. Great storytelling on its history, it’s architects, the venues. We had the chance to attend few minutes of the philharmonic orchestra rehearsal. By far one of the most interesting and beautiful buildings in the world. Sydney is very lucky to have it.

We are pleased to hear that your tour guide was very informative about our different theatres and all about our history. It is also fantastic that you were able to catch some of the orchestra rehearsal going on in the Concert Hall too. We are honoured that we are one of the most interesting and beautiful buildings you've seen. Hope to see you again soon!

Did a 60 minute tour in a group of 20 to all parts of the building. Limited indoor camera use. Brilliant views outside showing bridge and cruise ship. Guide was superb and witty also

It was the first place we visited on our Sydney and Melbourne trip. We went to Sydney Opera House on Good Friday on 2017 and it was so crowded because it's a must visit place when you go to Sydney. One of my bucketlist too!

Take a train or bus to Circular Quay and enjoy the view! Don't forget to take some pictures there! It's an icon of Sydney..

The ferry to Manly takes approx 40 mins and costs only a few dollars as it is public transport. There are toilets and bar on board. From the ferry you are free to walk about, plenty of seating (outside rush hour). Excellent photo opportunities throughout.

We booked tickets to see Mandy Patinkin. The approach to the Opera House is exceptional, with the views of the harbour, ferry activity, and the Bridge. We walked up to the main steps and entered the top doors towards the concert hall. We were then able to walk outside and again view the City skyline and magnificent Harbour activity. We met a Canadian couple and had a brief but wonderful chat about Australia. Then went into the concert hall and saw a great show.

Dear James H,

Thank you for your great feedback. We are delighted you were pleased with your visit and hope you enjoyed your time wandering around with the guided tour! There are a few stairs involved in the tour so it is good to bring walking shoes. For patrons with accessibility requirements, we also offer an accessibility tour which utilises the internal lifts.
