“Just take a drink in the Bar/s outside”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

Whilst I'd followed recommendations not to bother going inside, DO take time to have an early evening (5pm onwards) drink in the lea of the House, looking at the Bridge with it's climbers!

“Sydney Opera House Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

We were recently visiting the Sydney Opera House for the first time and went on a guided tour. You are given headphones so you can easily hear the tour guide as you go around several parts including different theatres. I would really recommend to take the tour because you learn how it was designed and all the story behind it all-it was really interesting. Also it was good going into the different theatres and learning all the things that go on behind the scenes as well as some funny stories.
Loved it!

“Tour and Tasting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

I highly recommend this tour as it is an excellent way to see and learn about the Sydney Opera House in a short but concise tour.
The tour also takes you to places you do not have access to when seeing a production and ends in the Utson Room with it's awesome view of the Harbour.
The 'Tasting' costs $70 to buy as an order in the Opera House Kitchen (restaurant) but is at a reduced rate when combined in the Tour and Tasting. Even at $70 it is worth the price; it was too much food for my husband and I to finish.

“Iconic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

Sydney Opera House is a must see icon in Sydney- you can get right up close without a ticket. However its probably best viewed from a ferry- get one to Watsons Bay or Manly & take lots of photos on the way and then enjoy a day at the beach.
