I took two visits to the Rocks during my last Sydney visit, first to have lunch with friends and later to revisit some recommended sights. The first visit was on a Saturday when the craft markets were in full swing, and it was delightful to wander amongst the stalls before we stopped for lunch. The second visit was an afternoon in which I had more time to wander around. I visited Susannah Place, the Big Dig, the Discovery Museum, a couple of pubs with el fresco dining, and the visitor center. Walked along the Gloucester Walk to marvel at the Argyle Tunnel that was dug by convict labour. Don't listen to anybody who tells you that The Rocks is only interesting for shoppers, as it has so much more to offer than that!
