“Lovely Darling Harbour”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

We have not been to Sydney for several years and could not recognise Darling Harbour. However we loved the changes and enjoyed the walk from where we got off the ferry to the Chinese Gardens. It was well worth going into these gardens which we thorougly enjoyed. We have a very similar tourist attraction in our home city of Dunedin, NZ, but the Sydney gardens are much larger. When visiting Sydney, it is a must to spend some time walking around at Darling Harbour.

“Tourist hot spot”
Reviewed August 8, 2014 via mobile

You can't really come to Sydney and not venture down to darling harbour. It is full of over priced places to eat and drink but gives you a pretty good view. Saturday night (every Saturday) they have a pretty good firework show, bit of course expect crowds

“Love the vibe, bars and restaurants”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

I love Darling's harbour for its restaurants and bars. Some places get very busy in the evening, so reservation is a good idea. I wouldn't go there for shopping, but just to enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time. It has got very different feel to the Rocks, and I like them both. It's a bit more relaxed and casual, but really enjoyable.

“Plenty to do in Darling Harbour.”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

It has a swag of things to do and an easy walk to the Sydney underground.
Just wandering the harbour for views and food is enjoyable, then there are the attractions such as the Powerhouse Museum, Aquarium, Maritime Museum, Chinese Garden, harbour cruises.
I think it's easy to lose a day in Darling Harbour.

“Touristy but worth a visit :) and I don't mind the UGG Boot Shops ;) ”
Reviewed August 7, 2014 via mobile

Lovely place to spend your precious time with family and loved ones :) relatively safe, nice people everywhere...tons of shops and beautiful restaurants..
Lovely atmosphere and nice aquarium to keep the children happy :)
Regarding the UGG boots shops, since we're coming all the way from a tropical place and try to find a nice boots was quite a struggle in the past (every women should have at least one nice boots even in a hot tropical island...because fashion) finding plenty of UGG boots shops as an alternative around the area (before heading to big W or Pitt Street Mall) was a pretty nice experience :)
