“Not as impressive as you expect it to be”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Circular Quay is the better quay of the two, darling harbour is basically where you pick up a boat it is not very touristy, on the otherside there are great restaurants and a shopping centre!

“Pleasant Sunday”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

For a really pleasant Sunday this has got to be the place. Walk around the Harbour stopping off for an ice cream on warm day or even stopping for a cool drink at one of the many places in Darling Harbour. And if the fancy takes you go shopping at any one of the shops that are here. A short walk over Piermont Bridge and you are back in the city, or catch a mono rail into the city.

“Almost missed this”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Maritime museum, aquarium, food, shopping and some of the best kids open playgrounds I've run across. Don't miss the Chinese friendship garden. It is a quiet oasis to sit a bit and sip some tea. The Paddy Markets are a short walk away.

“All happening at the Harbour!”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

It's bright, vibrant and busy with bars and restaurants plus attractions, shops and boat rides. There is an IMAX cinema although we didn't visit. If you get the chance spend five minutes watching the fudge maker - mesmerising!

Darling harbour is the place to go, with numerous attractions, including the National Maritime Museum, Madame Tusauds and the Chinese Garden of Friendship. Numerous bars and restaurants overlooking the water.
