This is the location of where the first government house (1788) was located. When you walk in, they have a glass floor where you can see some of the earlier foundation of the house. The museum is quite small but it has a lot of good information. I liked how they presented what Australians ate throught the many decades plus they have a good interactive history of Sydney using maps and pictures. On the same floor, they have a viewing cube, which is great to take pictures of the exterior. Currently, they have a photo exhibit of suburbs of major cities around the world. Instead of taking the usual tourist pictures, the photographer and her daughter took pictures of lesser known neigborhoods. Very well done musuem!
