“The kids loved it”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013

Bought the 2 combo tickets that included the Sydney Wildlife Zoo. The kids loved it especially after seeing a Dugong and the sharks. Loved the photos taken by the service staff and the souvenir photo booklet or mini-album was a really good item to cherish the memories.

“Keep walking up and up, there is more to come”

Think the Melbourne Aquarium is better due to quality of exhibit surroundings but don't discount going to the Sydney Aquarium. Great attraction to do in a couple of hours and in the most spectacular location along the water front.

“As good as the zoo and do-able in an afternoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We spent about 2 hours walking through the aquarium. The themed areas are great, and while crowds do make it difficult to see some of the smaller tanks, the two underwater tunnels, open air and larger tanks make up for it.
Recommend timing your walk through the attraction with the talks. The Dugong talk very interesting!

“Another Solo Trip as a Big Kid”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

The aquarium was small but there were different sections of sea life which kept a kid amazed; and being a big kid, I was in fact quite in love with the creatures in the water tanks.

I bought the souvenir booklet and took an extra photo with myself posing as if riding on a shark - the pictures looked good and I really liked it. They costed $35 and $20 respectively, and poor foreign student like me could not help but think that they're expensive.

The ticket price was quite expensive in my point of view - Ocean Park in Hong Kong has an Aqua City which I personally believed to be a larger replica of the aquarium, not to mention OP has other attractions and a cheaper price for admission.

“Interesting”

Loved it. Espesially that the fish on display where from around Australia. Ideal to combine with wildlife.
