Set in the heart of Sydney on beautiful Darling Harbour, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium showcases over 13,000 aquatic animals from 650 species in spectacularly-themed habitat displays. See Australia's unique aquatic life up close, including one of the world's largest and most impressive collections of fish species, rare dugongs, elusive nautilus, beautiful seahorses, giant sharks, jellyfish, thousands of tropical fish, gigantic stingrays, and much, much more. I went with two kids, one four years old and the other two. In total it cost $60 for three of us. They had fun, but they weren't interested in seeing anything for too long, but they loved the dugongs!!

They were talking about the aquarium all week so it was definitely worth the trip. The aquarium offers discounted parking, you just need to remember to ask for validation when paying (which I forgot).

I would suggest buying aquarium tickets online to save some money and if going with kids spend the most time in the tunnels. There are four tunnels with sharks, rays and dugongs which the kids love. So don't worry if they rush through the rest as they may want to circle these over and over!

The new layout is very well done. I loved seeing the Dugongs and the seascapes have been made really interesting and realistic. Loved it! Using the Sydney iventure cards gives great value.

The Sea Life Centre is impressive for several different reasons. It's big, it has an enormous variety of sea life, there are 4 fantastic underwater shark tunnels with some pretty amazing fish (and huge!) but the thing that impressed me the most was the quality of the environment in the tanks. As I've already said, the underwater flora and fauna was pretty amazing but the settings were superbly laid out. The whole underwater environment was spotless and pristine; even the huge tanks were not the usual boring square shapes. I had to wait half an hour in the queue to get in but believe me, it was worth it! You will not be disappointed.

The aquarium is well set out and fun for all. Children can touch various things along the way and they try to involve the kids with different activities. The glass tunnel is a great way to get up close with a range of sea life. The sharks are always a hit with the kids as is 'Nemo'.

When you think of an aquarium I beleive you think about a big fish tank with some things to see, if you are lucky, and about two minutes latter your done. In Sydney Aquarium you will not feel like that at all, it is amaizing how much you can actually interact with your soroundings plus "play" with the trivia on the walls and halls... and if you listen to the girl that is with the microphone... you will actually learn a lot. Good value for your money, and you can see how much is needed that people keep coming in order to help a few "guests" on the Aquarium. Dont miss it.
