A place to quiet down. You get to see dinasaur, elephant and human bones. Native livings and their weapons. Birds, insects and gem stones. If you have kids, there is play area from crawling babies to toddlers. A color area with min cost for the stationeries use.

In order to understand Australia you must learn about its culture and history. The museum is a great place to learn about this and has many helpful staff to answer questions.

We went to this exhibition on a sunday morning - first in. By the time we left it was jam packed and would have made it difficult to enjoy the exhibits. The biggest downside is that you have to pay for not only the special exhibition but also for general entry - annoying and costly.

the museum has some very interesting permanent exhibits and is perpetually updating these, as well as having some very interesting traveling exhibitions, for example, the alexander the great exhibit and the teracota warriors were some of my favourites.

We come here a few times every year. There is always something new and great if you are interested in dinosaurs. My son loves this place too....
