This is my 3rd stay at the Westin, and I wanted to write another review because part of my trip was in the Heritage Building this time. First, I thoroughly enjoy the tower rooms, they are spacious, great bathrooms, floor to ceiling windows and great sleep comfort in the heavenly beds. The hotel has a great gym, and you can get in some great runs down by the harbor and botanical gardens.
The first 2 nights I spent in the Heritage Rooms due to lack of availability. I'm not a fan. For those of you jet lagged travelers like me, the curtains do not provide total darkness due to the way the bed is positioned. Next, if you want to watch TV, the TV is so far from the bed it is difficult to see it. Beyond that while there were windows I wouldn't say it got the best light, which is a big one for me.
Overall I still enjoy staying at the Westin and will do so on my next trip in, but definitely the Tower Rooms for me going forward.More
