Fantastic location if you need to go into the city, about a 5 minute walk. Kings cross is only a 3 minute walk.
Service was great, rooms are modern with a nice view and the hotel has some great facilities.

I highly recommend the sydney boulevard if you need to access sydney city.

We sent an email to say we wouldn't be arrriving until quite late and made enquiries about restaurant facilities etc. We received a really nice reply with attached room service menus which we thought was very thoughtful. We sent an email thanking them and the reservation staff took the time to reply again with a very welcoming, genuine tone. We are already impressed and looking forward to staying at this hotel. The replies have really been beyond the call of duty and we do appreciate the kindness.
Thank you.

We stayed here for one night before flying home and we very pleasantly suprised by how great it was for such good value. Big, clean, modern rooms with a view of the harbour bridge! A great stay and if I came back to Sydney I would defintely stay here again.

I stayed for 2 nights recently. I enjoyed a harbourside room which had a lovely vista of the bridge and wooloomaloo pier. The location was perfect for shopping and sight seeing. Walking distance to everything I needed. The commute from Central station to Kings Cross Station was easy and a short walk to the hotel.
The public bus to Circular Quay stopped out the front of the hotel and a supermarket with a short walk to stock up on all items.
I would recommend this hotel to all travellers and visitors to beautiful Sydney.

Room Tip: Harbourview was exactly that

Stayed here 3 nights. Enjoyed an Executive room with city views on the 23rd floor. The rooms are spacious and have a smart finish to them.

Our package included a continental breakfast (so no hot food) which is a lovely way to start the day. Served from 6:30am to 10:30am daily. There is also parking available on site at $25 a day. You can also get your car out at any time too, when needed.

The hotel has "The Vard" restaurant attached and the food and service here is lovely. You will find the same food is available in the room service menu. Coffee is fabulous here too.

Great location for walking to the CBD and many Sydney attractions. Out of the busy bustle of Sydney.

Only downside was the price (on the expensive side), the room walls are quite thin so noise from other guests are easily heard, and the lift/room swipe cards often had to be redone by reception staff as they would frequently stop working.

Would come back.

We chose this hotel after reviewing trip advisor, to find an economical place to stay to see the sights of Sydney. We were not disappointed.
The staff, the rooms and facilities were excellent. It was a reasonable but pleasant enough stroll to the centre, and in a good location to catch public transport to the main tourist attractions.

The good bits:
The staff/service was very good; they prepared the room for our early arrival, due to sudden onset of a vomiting virus (it was a haven for the circumstances).
The room service was excellent, in the evening my wife had Thai chicken breast stir fry in oyster sauce which she said was absolutely beautiful. I had scrambled eggs & toast which stayed down and was just what the doctor ordered. Also Woollies very close.
Not so great bits;
King size bed was past its use-by date: sunk into middle from each end & side (without anyone on it), surprising as it was two singles joined together.
Bathroom has nice marble tiles, older style with shower over bath and shower curtain (big step), which would be fine except it was a little stale smelling.
Appreciated our stay but expected "fresher" room/appointments for the tariff & rating as a 4 star/luxury hotel.

ahwt Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your recent stay with us and we hope that you recovered quickly from your virus.

It was disappointing to hear that the King size bed had sunk into middle, I have passed your comments onto our Housekeeper and we will certainly look at this issue along with your comment that the room had a stale odour.

We value your comments and are thankful for the positives about the staff service, early check-in and that your room service was excellent. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
