I recently received a very proactive email offer as a result of a past stay and decided it was worthy of follow up . I am a frequent traveller and usually stay in the heart of the city as it works with restaurants etc. I made contact with Quercy (BD Executive) and he did his very best to tempt me with an acceptable offer. I wasnt disappointed . Spacious quiet well presented and very pleasant room ,well equiped gym and fantastic steam room and sauna were an unexpected bonus . The front of house team are extremely friendly and professional who exhibit a very genuine helpful attitude to guests. Rocio is the hidden gem in the 25th floor restaurant and her pleasant helpful professional manner provides a level of relaxation to enable you to take in the city and harbour views . There is a good variety of choice from the menu and the presentation and taste are of a high standard .

Spent last week in this hotel which is next to Hyde Park. Nice view on the the harbour. Very quiet. Not a lot of restaurants around but 5mins walk and you're in George St. I tried a mexican canteen nearby, very good. My room had a separare and very comfortable living room, 2 bathrooms. For a very reasonable price. Definitively going again there on special deals. I also got internet for free for 3 days, high bandwidth.

Had a great stay here. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ordered room service which had great portions but was a quiet cold when we received it. Parking was also quiet expensive but we were right in the city centre and had amazing views of the city.

The staff here where really helpful and easy going. The room was an average hotel room nothing spectacular but clean and comfortable. I think in Sydney at these prices I expected a bit more to be honest. What really let this down was the internet in my room. Firstly I hate it when you have to pay for it and even more when you pay and you can make a cup of coffee while loading a page. I was on the 19th floor and if had known was a floor without wifi would have asked to move. The foyer worked much better and had Wi Fi but not good enough in the room.

Room Tip: Avoid 19th floor make sure you get wi fi on your floor

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August 2012. We arrived on an early flight and went to check if we could leave our bags to be told at 8am that we could book into our room. We also had a free upgrade to a higher level room with magnificant views over the bay and the city. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated close to town and all the attractions. Room was large and clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and see if you can get a bay view room. It is well worth it.

Loved the room very spacious and clean. good bathroom too, modern and clean. Was uprgraded by friendly receptionist to harbour view. With a good view even from the 5th floor. Great value for $120 per night. Two night stay on weekend. Great easy walk to circular quay and the rocks go via Wooloomooloo to the Lady Macquarie track and back via the botantical gardens. Had a good meal at the Wooloomooloo pub with $5 drinks and a guitarist playing. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Definitely harbour view and high up to get away from potential street noise on the weekend from King...

Service was impeccable across the board & location was great. From here I comfortably enjoyed exploring Hyde Park, St Mary's Cathedral, Botanical Gardens & down to Circular Quay on foot.

I enjoyed the buffet breakfast every day & the rooms were great - comfy beds, great hot shower...

Some great food options a block down on Stanley St.

Room Tip: Get a room with a harbour view if you can.
