Owner description: At 250 metres above street level, Sydney Tower Eye is the highest point in Sydney - perfect for finding your bearings or just taking it all in. It's the perfect place to start your Sydney adventure. With views stretching out as far as the eye can see in all directions, there's no better place to find your bearings. Sydney Tower Eye is a true year-round visitor attraction. Gazing out across the beautiful harbour city you'll be captivated by the views of stunning Sydney in all its glory. Crystal clear skies in winter make for the best viewing distances of the year, while in Spring the explosion of Jackaranda Trees covers the Eastern Suburbs in vibrant splashes of purple. Sydney is at its best in Summer, and guests soak up the city's laid back Summer vibe from the cool air-conditioned deck as the streets swelter below. Autumn brings gorgeous orangey glows and the best sunsets of the year - the perfect time to head out on a SKYWALK for 'that' picture of the city and harbour in the background.

“Make sure you check the weather forecast before you go!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

I think it is pretty expensive to just go up there for AUD26 adult single entry. But there are other options to choose; you can buy combo tickets (Sydney Tower Eye, Aquarium and some other sites) with a discount. Good to have the combo tickets with travelling with children. View up there is pretty good but really make sure you check the weather forecast before decide to go. I went there at around 530pm and when it was about 7pm, there was a thick layer of fog. People were still paying and coming in but they couldn't enjoy the nice view I saw just a little earlier due to the sudden change of weather. So make sure to check the weather forecast:)

You are right; the best way to take advantage of all the great attractions is to buy a combo ticket. There are a range of option, so something to suit everyone. Another great feature of the Combo tickets is that they are valid for 30 days from original purchase. So if the weather does not work in your favor, come the next day. We do also offer a wet weather promise which allows you to return on a bright sunny day within a 7days of your visit. I hope you’ve been able to take advantage of the beautiful weather here in Sydney since your visit.

“OK, but not really worth the entry fee”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2014

An extremely hot / humid day so didn't appreciate the time it took to queue for our tickets, queue to have everything scanned, queue to go into a 4D presentation (which wasn't even tower-related), queue for the lift to go up, queue for the lift to come back down. I realise it was the middle of summer and tourist season so did expect queues but the 4D presentation should be voluntary. The views from the top were impressive, pity someone built a building to block the view of the Opera House. Didn't do the walk round the outside as everything else took too long.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Sydney Tower Eye following your recent visit and thank you for being patient and understanding of the busy holiday season here in Sydney. I am glad that the views from the observation deck impressed you on that day, as we are quite proud of the city in which we are situated. The 4D cinema is voluntary, yet included in your admission; we encourage all guests to see it as it’s a extra that allows you to see Sydney as part of a fun experience before you get to the top to see it for yourself. Most of all, I do hope you’ve enjoyed your time spent here in Sydney.

“nothing special”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

I haven't done the skywalk, but I've been to many other towers before to look over different cities, but I honestly was a bit disappointed about the sydney tower. The 4D cinema up font was nothing special either.
Not again.

“Great 360 views”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2014 via mobile

Visited the tower (didn't do the skywalk) the views are great we could see for miles. The hand out map provided was great to help stop different sights. Was surprises binoculars were free but this was great. Although open ever day except Xmas day we visited on new years day and had trouble gaining entry until 12pm as the shopping centre was shut up.

“Very pricy for what you get. You can't even see the opera house from where the tower is located.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014 via mobile

Overall, I find my $26 wasted even if we went on a good day. The view was nice but not worth it. From where the tower is located, you will not see the opera house at all as it is being blocked by a few high rises. So...keep this in mind. You will, however, be able to see the harbour bridge, the darling harbour, Olympic parks, Hyde parks, CBD, the city and it's vicinity. For me...having been on several towers, this one is not worth the money.
