“Great value for money”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

We stayed on a Saturday night, and even though we made a very late booking ( via their own website BTW) we got a great room and breakfast deal. The hotel was very quiet and the room we had was quite large, with high ceilings.

The room was tastefully furnished, and clean. We were however impressed with the service, especially at check-in and check-out. It was fast, friendly and very efficient.

The location is ideal for anywhere in the Sydney CBD. we walked to the Rocks and back from our hotel, and it would be an ideal walk further up towards the mall, AMP centre etc.

I travel a lot for my job, and even though this booking was for lesiure the hotel rated very highly in my view. A boutique style hotel is often better , and with the Radisson Blu this was certainly the case.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Premier room.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in February this year. The hotel itself was very good and in a good position for sightseeing, its a short stroll to Circular Quay. Our room was very nice and had all the facilities you would expect. Our visit to Sydney was part of a trip to celebrate my wifes birthday this year and the hotel had very kindly left a bottle of bubbly in our room for us when we arrived. The staff at the hotel desrve a special mention, very friendly and will do all they can to assist you. This is an excellent base for your stay in Sydney.

Room Tip: I would suggest trying to get a room with a juliet balcony, we didnt and had no view of the street b...

Stayed 2 nights booking our room online direct from their website, booking a Premier Room with an option to upgrade to the Business Class floor, for a fee, if available on arrival. We were lucky enough to get this upgrade and our room was excellent. On the business class floor we had access to the business lounge which was a wonderful quiet place to enjoy some canapes and a drink at the end of a busy shopping day! We were looked after wonderfully by the attendants. Our room was a spacious king with marble bathroom - my wife enjoyed the deep bath with a treat she bought from Lush. The room was immaculate and serviced daily - the head housekeeper even called by to ask if we were happy with the room after they'd cleaned it, we liked that. This hotel is very unassuming from the street, you walk into a beautiful 5 star hotel. Located near Circular Quay, its a great spot. We will definitely stay again.

$275 per night is actually a pretty good deal in Sydney.
Our room was superb, well-appointed. Location is truly optimal. Close to Circular Quay and the Rocks, the Opera House and Wynyard Station. We had a beautiful run along the water during our stay, through the Royal Botanical Gardens by the SOH, etc. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good all-around.

We chose this hotel as we were going on a party cruise leaving from King Street Wharf and the hotel is a 10 minute walk from there. Friendly efficient staff, although I think that the person who delivered the bags to our room was waiting for us to tip him, which was a bit of a surprise. Free Wi Fi was great, bathroom spacious, room OK but a bit cramped with a large desk, office chair, small lounge, plus the bed, TV and mini bar console. Walls were thin and you could hear a lot of noise from other rooms. No view to speak of, but we were only there overnight so it wasn't too much of a drama. Valet parking was expensive but worth it. We had a nice stroll down to Circular Quay the next morning for breakfast as were were able to secure a 12 midday checkout. Wish we'd stayed two nights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a room with a view!

The hotel is centrally located within the business district, however it was only a 5-10 minutes walk to circular quay and the ferries. The room was lovely and generously sized, but the highlight within the room was the separate shower and bath! The hotel had a nice restaurant/bar which offered a good set course menu at a really reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.
