This Hotel is close to Darling harbour and the central shopping precinct making it a top location. Hotel is more apartment orientated so no restaurant / room service. Air con is average / noisy. TV set old and small, our room had a kitchenette. 7/11s are nearby for supplies as are good cafes and restaurants. access to D Harbour is by a walkway and is 5mins away. you will be at the Imax end of the harbour. no view to speak of. rooms and hotel need an upgrade and they have posted notes to say this will be done. beds ok, no frills here.

Thank you for review and feedback regarding Seasons Harbour Plaza.

Our location is perhaps our best attribute being so close to Darling Harbour and the City center and we endeavour to further improve the total experience with a refurbishment currently in progress.

Good news is that the restaurant service within the hotel will commence shortly and all the televisions will be or have been replaced with new energy efficient flat screen LED units.

We value your feedback and hope you do enjoy the competitive rates on offer at the moment.

If there is anything else of concern, please remember we are always available for you to contact the hotel again to discuss on +61 2 9336 5111 or on email via reservations.shp@sahg.com.au.

Safe travels and we do hope to see you again!

I got put up here by my company for two nights and I wouldn't choose to stay here myself. Whilst the location is excellent (very close to the Town Hall train station which is on a direct train route from the international airport), the rooms are tired and need a make over and there is very little natural light. The hotel is also VERY close to the Sydney CBD shopping (many malls and high street shopping within easy walking distance), including a food market, which is another bonus.
Whilst I say it is poor value, I guess the rate is expected for the location, if you can stay further out of the CBD and you might get a better experience for your money.

Room Tip: It's in the middle of the CBD, so if you're sensitive to noise when you sleep, ask for a room on the higher floors.

Thank you for review and feedback regarding Seasons Harbour Plaza.

It is disappointing to hear that your business trip was soured by the "poor value" in the hotel, given that it is so well located to the Darling Park Towers and many other corporate office towers.

Whilst the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment, we are quite proud of being able to offer a so called proverbial "discount" of the apartments, in lieu of the refurbishment.

Our competitive rate against other hotels around the area is very evident, with the added bonus of loads more space and self contained facilities within the room.

We value your feedback and do hope we can host you again in the future.

If there is anything else of concern relating to your case, please remember we are always available for you to contact the hotel again to discuss on +61 2 9336 5111 or on email via reservations.shp@sahg.com.au.

I cannot emphasize this enough: do NOT stay at this hotel if you are planning to use their parking. Forget the $40 parking fee!!!, this place is almost impossible to get your car into. It's a one way parking lot meaning that if a car is coming from the opposite direction one of the drivers has to reverse to give way to the other vehicle AND the lane is very narrow and extremely hard, slow and painful to navigate especially if you drive a larger vehicle. So be warned about that.

I am not sure who gave them their 4* rating. Especially if you're an overseas visitor please note generally speaking the hotels in Australia are higher ranked stars wise than they should be. This is certainly one over rated hotel.

The location is great, there is no dispute about that but that's about the only positive along with the somewhat nice indoor pool with towels (so you don't have to bring your own towels from the room).

It's an older hotel, the staff was nice and helpful but there are a few things missing from the room as you can see from the photos.

And lastly, DO NOT stay here if you intend to park. I can't stress that enough.

Thank you for your review and feedback.

It does appear that the review is of the wrong location as the facilities you have mentioned aren't accurate of Seasons Darling Harbour.

The car park at Seasons Darling Harbour is quite large with dual lanes and operated by third party operator, Secure Parking, ensuring accessibility is seamless and parking bays are quite large.
The parking rate at Seasons is a discounted rate for in-house guests and is competitive against general parking garages including fellow hotel car parks.

The same note applies to the indoor pool, as Seasons Darling Harbour features an "outdoor" pool.

But nevertheless, we are sorry to hear that you didnt enjoy your stay at whichever hotel this was intended to be for.

Safe and happy travels!

Stayed there for a single night, a Friday and the convenience to central Sydney was just what we were after, living so far from the city ourselves. The room is more than large enough for two persons.

Having a separate bedroom, kitchen, spa and a balcony at such an inexpensive price was a bonus for us. We weren't expecting anything luxurious at the budget cost (and last minute booking!). Must say, the balcony was about a foot wide which was quite comical but fine for some fresh air. Didn't find it ridiculously unclean.. just don't expect it to be 4-5 stars and you will be happy. We were on the 10th floor and didn't notice any street noise at all.

Certainly not a place you would say is a comfortable hotel option for a week+ to stay in but I would certainly recommend it as a base for visiting Sydney city for 1 or 2 nights. Would stay again.

Thank you for review and feedback regarding Seasons Harbour Plaza.

It is very pleasing to hear of your approval of the hotel and we are endeavouring on improving this experience even more following the completion of our refurbishment.

An inside tip is that the lower to the middle floors are quieter apartments for those that are noise sensitive to the hustle & bustle of the Sydney CBD.

Our star rating is officially rated at 4 star at the moment but this means nothing to us, until we feel that guest satisfaction has been met. Though we are striving to restore the hotel to its original 4.5 star rating.

We value your feedback and do hope we can host you again in the future.

A courtesy note that return guest benefits is available and encourage to make comment of it in your future bookings.

Wow .. Great job !! I stayed there last year (oct 2012) and the room was filthy. I came here for second stay (sent by my company no choice ) but I was surprised that not only they got new furniture but also they got cleaner rooms ! Bathroom and bed room were excellent and clean.
My next stay will be for sure at harbour plaza.

My room got some fixing work that needs to be done. But in general : 5 stars , nice and clean.
