These self accommodation apartments are minutes away from the train station and walking distance to the trendy bars and clubs . On the train line for Sydney harbour bridge which leads to everything. It literally is a great bedroom and bathroom with self catering facilities near everything u need. There is not a lot of luxury but if u are in Sydney for sight seeing I would totally recommend. Also has cheap laundry facilities for those like us who are travelling for longer periods of time.

We stayed in Napoleon on Kent during our Easter holidays, for 4 days. I gave two points just because of the location, it deserves only one.

Goods : Location is great, you are sitting in 5-minute walking distance to George Street (just two blocks) and Sydney Harbour area (about 15 minutes). Wynyard station is one block away, which is great!
The stuff was nice and helpful.

And we are done with the goods....Bads.... Well, it is not a "serviced apartment" as it is advertised. We were shocked when we learnt that the rooms are cleaned once per week! And level 4 (I do not know the other floors) is stinking! We never felt "comfortable" and "clean" during our stay... We had to leave or balcony door open all the time when we were out, and even this was not enough to remove the stink inside the room (the smell in the room was different than the one in the floor hall).

About the kitchenware, we did not use any of them (just knife)... There was dirt inside the kettle, and it was totally useless.
We will never prefer Napoleon on Kent as a place for accommodation.....

We stayed here for 4 nights in one of the studio apartments and found it to be comfortable and clean. The apartments are in a good position to walk to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Opera House and Bridge. Being in the CBD there are plenty of restaurants nearby plus shops. The freeway to and from the bridge does go over the building but we didn't notice any noise and I wouldn't let that put you off staying here. Good value for money overall

This apartment hotel is very central to the 2 central main attractions in Sydney. 10 min. walk from harbor bridge and 20 min from the Opera building. There are also supermarket and restaurants nearby in the city center also only few min. walk away from the apartment. The apartment complex is lying between 2 busy roads and a highway above the building. However it is quiet in the apartment with no traffic noise. The apartment is spacious with a living room/kitchen and 1 bedroom. We stayed 2 adults and 2 kids for 3 night and thats run out well. The apartment was clean and we had a good time there. The area is very quiet in weekend due a lot of offices.

We recently returned to this hotel after enjoying its very good location and great value three years ago. Again, we were not disappointed! Our very spacious one bedroom apartment was immaculate and had obviously had a recent refurbishment. Despite reviews from previous contributors we were not bothered by any noise coming from Kent Street (we must have been on the right side of the complex), nor were we disturbed by the construction going on over the road near Darling Harbour.
For our purposes the location couldn't have been better as we were within 10 minutes walking distance of the famous Tetsuya Restaurant where we dined on our second evening's stay. For our trip to the airport on the morning we checked out, reception arranged for the four of us to take advantage of a $50 flat rate transfer in a minibus - great value considering that we had to negotiate road works and early morning peak traffic.
The only negative that barely rates a mention, was the strong pervading smell of paint in the corridors - but I hesitate to complain when this is evidence of a maintenance programme! We'll definitely be returning to this hotel.
