Check in was pleasant. Staff are nice. Room is noisy. Not from outside but adjoining and overhead rooms. Can hear everything they say and do! No view from rooms, but that is expected in the chippendale precinct. Room is neat and tidy. Sink is appalling with drain partially blocked and various items of floating debris constantly rising to the basin - YUK.! .The Breakfast is not bad, but the staff give priority to the airline personnel over the other customers. Just because the airline has an accommodation contract, doesn't mean that their employees can jump the queue! I don't think that is appropriate!. Coffee at breakfast is terrible. Overall Rating is poor due price for all of the above.

Hotel rooms basic but comfortable
Rooms on one side of the hotel look straight out to blank, old dirty wall
Breakfast good - Coffee (from machines) terrible
Hotel access if you have a car & driving is difficult especially in heavy traffic
Staff courteous & helpful

This is a modern, corporate hotel a bit on the wrong side of town for tourists.

What you think of it will depend mostly on what you paid - if you got it for a bargain, I'm sure you'll be happy; I don't know what I paid because it was part of a bigger holiday package but I know we felt disappointed because we we're on a special trip.

The rooms are big and clean, but otherwise devoid of any style or grace - our room had no bath or sink plugs and a broken TV controller so you get the feeling that housekeeping is a bit slapdash.

On the plus side it's next to the central rail and bus stations so connections to airport and harbour are simple - there's also a free shuttle bus - no. 555 - that stops outside at bus stop B, which takes you through the city and down into the harbour.

It's also only a short walk into Chinatown and then Darling Harbour which is pleasant enough tourist location, full of cafes, parks and restaurants.

The staff are fine though, they're friendly and helpful and fairly quick with replacement bath and sink plugs.

If your budget is up to it, I think you're better at the harbour - the Four Season or Shangri-La if you can afford it both look pretty good - because all of Sydney's action is around the harbour - at least it is if you've only got a couple of days.
