Planned a weekend away with the family, rotten weather spoilt alot of it.

Mecure Sydney is wondefully placed, next to Central Station and close to the major bus terminal.

The hotel is a little out of the way for some of Sydney attractions, meaning with a family with small children, taxis or buses were used due to the distance from Darling Harbour, The Rocks etc.

My wife and i bboked the family package which included, breakfast, car parking and a movie for the children in the hotel room.

Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly, the breafast was hot and filling however car parking was a problem. Due to the rain/ bad weather looked like every person drove this weekend. At first had to park on the street as there were no spaces available in the underground parking. A few hours later and I waqs infromed we could park alongside the walls of the carpark, again that quickly filled and you could hear some guests complaining about the lack of parking.

Room Tip: Get in early to secure parking if needed and if possible ask for higher floor rooms as lower levels...

Great little hotel in a good location about 20mins walk from the harbour. 10mins walk from china town. Rooms to a good standard comfortable. Pool could have done with a upgrade. Staff v helpful. Concierge exceptional. Probably the best prices you can get for a city centre hotel. Would recommend getting the bus tour around the city from the bus station around the corner from the hotel.
