Location made getting around Sydney very easy. We would have appreciated some information on nearby restaurants or dining options eg excellent cafe around the corner for breakfast. To be called a penthouse our room really needs the bathroom fittings repaired or updated.

Great location, close to Central Train Station and plenty of Cafe's and eateries around.Room clean and the kitchen facilities good. Hotel was quiet as I did not hear much outside noise at all. Would stay here again.

I stayed in the "loft apartment" and would recommend this for the extra space that you get although you also pay more. The room was comfortable although very dimly lit (which was not good if you wanted to read) and the decor throughout the hotel is a bit dark. The place is looking a little tired and could do with a freshen up through refurbishment. Location is very handy for the CBD, Chinatown and access to Glebe, Newtown and Surry Hills.

Very happy staying here. Not a big hotel and I arrived to be told I was being put on the first floor. I hurrumphed coz its on a very busy corner and was put in an upgrade to 2 br on the 5th. Much happier and only realised it was a two bed when I got into the room an hour or so later.
Being honest, the funiture needs refreshing as does the kitchen and the crockery could do with sorting out. Its all there but mismatched. You wouldn't want to be trying to impress. On the other hand there was everything you need and for a family with kids its a great spot, next to the main train station in Sydney for suburban, country and interstate trains or busses to everywhere.
What it is also next to is some of the best eating in Sydney. Over Railway Square there is Chinatown with every possible option. There is a supermarket and booze shop down on the corner of Quay and Ultimo Rd with all u need to stock your apartment. Note this is another of those hotels that now don't offer lotion so buy some or bring some.
You could eat at every joint on Quay street and still want more. I strongly recommend the Chinatown Noodle Restaurant (yes that is its name) on the right as you go down. See my separate review. In fact I never got past Quay street and theres a million other places to try!
I stayed at this hotel for work and will see if they will put me here again. It was a good experience all round. Although one thing; its a bit short staffed. Hard to get help with bags and such. That and the furnishings mark it down a notch. The beds are ok. Not splendid. I like them to be splendid. But I slept well enough. Good value for central Sydney.

Another great stay at Adina Central - location, location, location. We stay for the convenience to Sydney town and the train. The apartment was generously large, clean and well serviced - we will stay again when next in Sydney. Great value for money.
