We had three nights at the Four Seasons, and wish it could have been more. The service at the hotel started the minute we entered - with the doorman taking our luggage before we even checked in and arranging for it to be sent up to the room. The desk clerk called after we made it to the room to make sure the room was to our liking. The concierge was very helpful, giving recommendations for restaurants and arranging airport transportation.

The room was everything you expect from a luxury hotel - fine linens, quality soaps, nice decor. The room was a bit small, but adequate. Given the size of the room, the TV was actually too large to view comfortably - a case of trying to provide more, but actually achieving less (also, why is it hotels cannot adjust TVs to the proper aspect ratio?)

But we spent very little time looking at the tv - the view from the window was incredible - worth the price alone. The location was also unbeatable - just steps from the Circular Quay, the Rocks and the Opera House.

Stayed here for two weeks in April after moving from Shangri-La for another two weeks. I was there for holiday and partner there for work. Both great hotels - same harbour view (for harbour view rooms) but Four Seasons had a bit extra - foyer and hotel rooms decked out beautifully although they are smaller than ShangriLa.

It's located in a perfect corner of Circular Quay and walking distance to the business district and The Rocks is on your doorstep, including buses and circular quay train station.

Loved the Loccitane amenities! Beds were SO comfortable and LCD TV was great. Bring a PC cable if you want to hook up your laptop to it.

Great 5 star hotel for business or leisure.

Checked out lots of reviews before the long weekend trip away and where to stay. Decided on the Four Seasons in the end. Was concerned about some comments that rooms were small Ours was a tad small, but at the same time very comfortable. My husband and I had a great stay there, easy walking distance to Opera House, Harbour Bridge, the Rocks and ferries to everywhere! Requested a room with a view of Opera House and we were lucky to get one that had the perfect view. I realise that some rooms would not get such a view but I guess that is the same for all hotels anyway. Staff were very polite, courteous and certainly gave us the 5-star treatment. Could not fault this hotel at all and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Enjoyed a four night stay overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Plush hotel with all of the amentities and a location that can not be beaten in Sydney. Walk to restaurants, shopping, transportation and the famous harbor area within minutes of the hotel entrance. Easy walk to Darling Harbour and other Sydney attractions. Beds are the most comfortable my wife and I have ever experienced and the views amazing. Train and bus facilities within a block of the hotel. Staff at the hotel were the best.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in the middle of May. On first impressions the hotel looked very grand and a nice hotel. Our first impressions of reception weren't so great. we arrived at 6pm (enough time for the hotel to organize our room i would imagine) and were we were greeted politely etc. but we were told that our room wasnt ready? like they wasnt expecting us.

The person attending to us was messing around on the computer saying she needed to find us a room. She went off to speak to a manager who had a discussion in front of us about where to put us!! then we were told that we had a room and we were given the key and that someone would be to our room shortly to remove something from the room as it was someone else's room!!! - when i questioned this the lady was a little short with me and didnt understand why i would be questioning this. She told me that a member of staff would just be collecting something and would be gone. I dont think we needed to be told any of this and this should have been sorted out whilst she was serving us.

Anyway the room itself was a full harbour view room, it was a beautiful room and was worth paying the extra for the view. The room had all the extras and nice touches that you would expect from a four seasons/5 * hotel. The bathroom was large and L'occtaine bath products to use. The bed was so comfortable we didnt actually want to leave.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and you can see the majority of the major tourist spots on foot. There is circular quay station less 5 mins walk away and there is a number of restaurants and bars and pubs right next to the hotel.

The concierge James was fantastic and very very helpful, everything you wanted to know he had an answer for and more times than not produced a leaflet to help you with. He even got us all the train times to the blue mountains and the best places to see and do whilst there.

We didnt get time to use the fitness centre of the swimming pool but both looked really nice and i can imagine the pool is wonderful in the summer as it is an open air pool.

Overall this hotel is a fantastic hotel and i would definitely stay there again but would hopefully receive better service at reception.
