“"Great Weekend"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013

Stayed two nights in a City Harbour View Room with Executive access. Nothing to complain about the room was great, stylish furnishings and bathroom, comfortable bed, a good TV with plenty of stations & clear picture. Executive Club was fantastic with self service bar & canapés from 5pm till 8pm also with breakfast included. The Hotel is in a great position at the Rocks close to all the action.

You can't complain when you open your window and see the harbor and the Opera House from your window. Fantastic Four Seasons property. Check-in was a little clumsy. Beyond that, the upgraded suites were large and always perfectly cleaned. We took advantage of the executive lounge for cocktails and snacks each evening before hitting the town. Great location!

Room Tip: Upgrade and ask for Harbor view.

we managed to bad a great deal on travelzoo for which we only paid $260 for a harbour view room and free access to the club lounge and free buffet breakfast. normally this is around 500 smackers! location is 2nd to none. right next to circular quay. the buffet breakfast was amazing. the rooms were luxurious, smart and modern. my 'harbour'view was slightly lacking - i should imagine i was given the worst one of the bunch given the low amount i paid so fair enough. the club lounge was great. free flowing drink, great nibbles in the afternoon and canapes in the evening. you could almost just eat dinner here and not dine at a restaurant thus saving even more money. i felt the swimming pool area could do with a facelift, though the changing rooms complete with sauna and steam room were very smart.

free internet was also a bonus on their 2/3rd floor area but internet was very very slow

yes i would return, but only if i found another cheap deal like this. feel sorry for all the suckers who were paying double the amount i was

I stayed here for business. Would only come here for personal if I was treating myself. It is a lovely place to stay. Loved my room. Such good quality bed and bedding.
I did not have breakfast at the hotel as we had an early start the following morning. Train station just across the road - ideal for quick trip to international airport.

We have previously stayed at the Shangri La for Sydney trips but this time decided on The Four Seasons. As we were taking our children we required adjoining rooms and were very pleased with our Opera House and Harbour bridge views - a wonderful view to wake to each morning.
Rooms very clean, beds very comfortable and the little touches like in room coffee machine and L'Occitane toiletries were appreciated.
Staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant - especially to our 3 small children. They were even given a small stuffed toy each upon checking in.
I think this will be our Sydney base from now on.

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a privately booked Lions trip. (We had just spent 5 nights at the Crown Towers, Melbourne which was perfect in every way).
Rooms here are average at best and my allocated room was over looking a building site, so $30 a day extra secured me a reasonable view. Internet costs are very high at $25 per day, a right rip off!
Real disappointment was the gym, equipment is dated but also dirty and I mean dirty. No cloths or liquids to clean down equipment after use and the floor hadn't been vacuumed for some time. Can only think that the GM never ever enters the gym but why not?
The position of the hotel is great and the guys on front door & concierge desk are all 1st class.

Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to pass on your feedback regarding your recent experience at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney.

I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your stay and on behalf of the team I sincerely apologise for not meeting your expectations.

Please be assured I have taken your valuable comments on board. Our gym is cleaned every night, and the machines are cleaned numerous times daily as well. I am looking into your dates of stay to see why this may not have been the case.

We do hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Stayed for a conference for only one night sadly. Bedding great quality and comfortable. Smallish room, with only a snippet of a view out of the window, did however have a well appointed bathroom with beautiful L'Occitane toiletries. Nice conference facilities too. Was very pleasant in the morning with a grand piano playing int the foyer adjacent to the Breakfast area. Very close to CIrcular Quay and the Rock, make it a terrific location for visitors to Sydney.
