“Everything was perfect.”

Everything was perfect. But the restaurant didn't have various dinner menu, especially for asians. So the restaurant was always not busy, even saturday dinner. That fact was unfortunate to perfect four seasons sydney.

Stayed here for 2 weeks over New Year in a grand premier city view room. Huge room with every expected 5 star amenitiy. Beds are so comfortable and the room is nicely laid out so that it doesnt feel like a standard square box hotel room. Breakfast in The Woods restaurant was excellent, and by day 3 of our stay the staff knew us by name and our coffee order, and had our table ready each morning around the same time. Its little things like this that make a hotel special. The location is perfect. Steps away from circular quay and the harbour bridge and opera house. Only negatives i could find is that the wifi was particularly slow and expensive at $140 for 4 days. Also the menu at the pool is very basic with just bento boxes (sandwiches) and drinks, no hot food such as club sandwich or burger.

We stayed at the FS recently on a Sunday night in a city/partial harbour room and had a wonderful time there. The valet immediately took care of our car and luggage, the lobby doors were opened for us (and every time we left/ re entered the hotel) and the check in was extremely quick and friendly with the receptionist helpfully offering us a choice of rooms with different pros and cons within the room category we had booked, which was nice of her. Our room was immaculate, very comfortable, quiet with a very nicely fitted out marble bathroom. We thought room service was fantastic, we had a light meal (savoury and sweets) when we arrived which was beautifully presented, delicious and all the food was at the correct temperature. Same with room service breakfast and the staff delivering it were very friendly and always went out of their way to be helpful. Similarly concierge organised a last minute dinner booking for us and had great knowledge about what was open on a Sunday night. We also tried the bar which has a nice ambience and had a couple of cocktails before dinner. The pool is fantastic as it is very sunny (with umbrellas if you want it) and they provide iced water and sun lotion as well which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this hotel as the staff are fantastic, do everything well and made our stay very enjoyable.

Stayed in the Grand Premier City Harbour-View Room. Spectacular views, prompt room service, the staff were friendly, lovely, polite and courteous. They knew how to treat a VIP, I will definitely be coming back here!

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view onto the Harbour Bridge, it makes for a much more pleasant awakening...

Although the hotel has been here for 30 years or so, the chain has kept it in very good shape. The two most amazing things are, the location, and the view. Of course, as always Four Seasons rooms are beautiful, and the service impeccable. The hotel is a mere block from The Sydney opera House, and "The Rocks", an area on the waterfront filled with shops, pubs, and restaurants. It also sits just below the famed Sydney bridge. Water taxi's shuttle you to the Zoo, Bondi beach, or to other parts of the amazing and beautiful city of Sydney.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view. Especially here. They have different rates based on views...

Stayed for 2 nights in Grand premier Full harbour View room which had spectacular views of Circular Quay. The Harbour Bridge and The Opera House. Large room with lovely comfortable king bed and great bathroom with L'Occitane toiletries. Hotel is in fantastic location close to Circular Quay and The Rocks. Service was good although slightly impersonal compared to other hotels . Price of room did not include breakfast

Room Tip: Rooms on Higher floors have spectacular views of the Harbour

We had a wonderful week in Sydney staying at the Four Seasons. The concierge was very helpful before we arrive and during our stay, making reservations, providing sight seeing information etc. The location is perfect and if you upgrade to a larger room, it is worth it.

Room Tip: The standard rooms are small. Best to upgrade to a higher level if you want more space. We did this...
