I stayed here for 3 nights, after travelling down the Gold Coast. The hotel is very impressive & the rooms were perfect. Loved the cocktail bar & the location was perfect for all our needs.

I found the staff to be a little aloof at times, & it felt if you didn't have legs which went on forever & blond hair you were going to wait a little longer for service... however, I would most definitely stay again & would most certainly recommend.

I used the spa, which was fabulous.. the staff in the spa were extremely friendly & appeared to go a little extra, which made up for the hotel desk staff!!

Thank you for the review of your recent stay with us. I am really pleased that you enjoyed your experience and that the hotel's facilities were to your liking.

I was a little surprised to read your comments regarding the front desk team, as it is not typical of them to be aloof. Hopefully, this was a one off situation; however, we will address this with them during our in-house training sessions.

Once again, thank you for your feedback and we look forward to seeing you sometime in the not too distant future.

Yours sincerely,

You cannot get more central than this location, close to darling Harbour, in midst of city, $20 cab to bondi, stone throw from queen Victoria arcade, lots of shopping etc. And all these without trying to charge you stupid rates and the hotel is clean, modern, super friendly staff, fantastic coffee at foyer. The best bits for me was the gym, its a fully fledged out gym, not the ex-broom cupboard with a few rocks pretending to be dumb bells. Excellent conference facility too, last but not the least, I thought I seen it all until now, a TV in the shower! And it was really useful I would never have thought.

As a local Sydney-sider, Hilton is in the perfect location of Sydney city. Surrounded by cafes to enjoy breakfast and shops to immerse yourself in within walking distance. Transportation is everywhere, bus stops outside and Townhall Station is 100m from the hotel. The rooms are clean and the service was great!

We stayed here for 2 nights for my wife's birthday and were very impressed with the calibre of hotel. I managed to get a good deal through a booking site and was a bit excited to see what it was like as I'd heard it was good. We arrived around 10am so figured we'd store our bags there and come back later when the room was ready. The check-in lady advised that while our category of room was unavailable until the afternoon, for a small amount extra we could do an on-the-spot upgrade and get an executive room with access to the exec lounge and check-in straight away. That was an easy decision! We got up to our room on level 35, and it was a really nice room with a great view, super comfortable bed, blackout blinds (which I love) and a luxurious bathroom with fantastic products. Then we went to check out the exec lounge (had been to the one at Traders in KL before and that was great), and they put on a really nice breakfast spread (not as big as the downstairs buffet, but had plenty of good stuff, and was nice and quiet). you can helpo yourself to soft drink and tea/nespresso coffee throughout the day and then there's afternoon tea and evening canapes as well which were all excellent. It was such a nice atmosphere and if you are looking for a place to just chill out, read a book, or do some work/computer stuff, it's a great spot. We felt like we could just stay in the hotel and not go out and have a wonderfully relaxing day. Would highly recommend this place for anyone going to Sydney as it's a great hotel, and in one of the best locations for city exploring as well!

Room Tip: Upgrade to the executive levels for access to the executive lounge - it's worth paying the littl...

The Hilton Sydney is a great hotel. Wonderfull ammentities. A little pricey. Location is adequate but it is a 15 minute walk to the Harbor and views of the Opera House. Thet fitness center is affiliated with a nice fitness club but it is not open 24 hours. Thus international business travellers who are trying to get time adjusted may not be able to get a work out in very early in the morning.

After a 24 hour trip from the US and having accidentally left my Credit Card in a restaurant in LAX I would have hoped Hilton would let me have my pre-booked room on trust. However, I was forced to wait for 1 hour in the lobby for a colleague to come to my rescue and pre-pay the room. Terrible customer care, especially for an up to now loyal Hilton Honors member. I may have to revisit my choice of hotel for business travel after this experience - what were you thinking Hilton!?
