mini fridge is a booby trap,,,automated bump a existing drink in packed fridge and your charged Excellent location, great staff. TV in shower was a nice touch for novellty value. TV in room complicated and not the best system, slow to respond. The view was just city 23 rd floor, see the people as ants. Nice staff who corrected the easy checkout bill removing the mini bar charges the automated fridge added to bill.

I appreciate your feedback and was pleased to learn you were happy with the service from our staff during your stay. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by the mini-bar charges due the system sensitivity - We endeavour to prevent such incidents by way of signage on the refrigerator; however I am pleased our Reception staff were able to remove these for you.

You will be pleased to learn that all of our television units will be replaced with newer models and upgraded with more advanced software; which we anticipate will make for a more enjoyable viewing experience.

gr8 breakfast and cocktail zones and good location close to the buzz staff were awesome tv was tiny and room needs an upgrade alas water pressure good at least the end the end the end the end the end the end the end the end

Hi Fellow Travellers! Yes back again.So i,ve road tested the Hilton Sydney. And i'm impressed.This is a beautiful hotel located on George street.From the moment you walk into this hotel you recieve a warm welcome.I had a room on level 28 the room is well layed out the bed super comfy and i had vews of sydney. Room service was excellent, The food was amazing and the staff member was very polite. The only thing missing was a bath witch i love. As for location your right on George street wich means the rocks and circular quay are a nice walk to, But there is a bus right outside the hotel and a train station located near Woolies. There are cinemas, pubs, shopping all within walking distance.So even for a special night or city getaway this Hilton is worth it.Great value in a awesome location.

Room Tip: i say the higher the level the better the view and room,I prefer a corner room

Booked into hotel via Booking.com and upon arrival was charged extra for an unexpected and unrequested complimentary upgrade!!! Very ordinary customer service when requesting price be adjusted accordingly. Also upgrade room not as nice as requested room. No apology forthcoming. Nice hotel but very dissapointed.

I have stayed here many times for business and this is one of my favourite hotels in Sydney for its location and the consistent excellent service. However on this particular trip, I felt the room was a bit tired. The carpet was stained, the magazines were old and whilst on previous occasions they supplied quality magazines for business travellers, this time they had a couple of dog-eared copies of entertainment and 'whereis' Sydney. Small details like these made me feel that the hotel might need a refresh. The channels available on tv are also not very good, hardly any choice apart from free-to-air and a couple of Foxtel news channels. Customer service was very good as usual, efficient and friendly. And the quality of room service meals is consistently good too.

We were delighted with this hotel. Fantastic breakfast, executive lounge the best yet for business with an abundance of space. Rooms were nice with city and water views. Very convenient to shopping with an elegant mall across the street. Also, convenient for walking to the domain and opera house. Fitness center was way beyond my expectations.

Room Tip: Ask for high and water

It was our first visit to the Hilton. We had trouble accessing the car park entrance as the address wasn't listed prominently on the website or reservation email. After a phonecall to the hotel we got the address and found it.
Lady at reception was very nice but spoke very softly and neither of us could really hear what she was saying. We were disappointed to be told at check-in that the pool was closed. We later found that the spa and steam rooms were still available so enjoyed the use of these facilities.
The room was lovely but not as luxurious as some other 5 star places we have stayed in in Sydney.
We enjoyed dinner at Glass Brasserie and we loved a The Marble Bar.
We stayed 2 nights and the longer we stayed the more we liked it. Service was good and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great location in the heart of Sydney close to transport links.
Small glitch with minibar charges pre checkout but this was rectified with a phonecall. TV remote did not work well and batteries were held in with duct tape.
Overall we had a great weekend and would stay again.

We sincerely regret that the pool was out of order during your stay - As a result of some urgent repairs required, this closure was in place for a short time and we truly regret any inconvenience this caused you, especially on such short notice.
