Has great location, in the heart of Sydney and within walking distance to places of interest, including the rocks, darling harbour, tower, circular quay, museums and also, malls like qvb, myers and david jones, great for me travelling with an infant. And close to major public transport. Otherwise, room we got was old and cramp, view nothing to shout about despite being on the 23rd floor. Buffet breakfast not worth the price but room service was pretty decent. Overall service just ok but could have been friendlier given its 5-star stature.

We loved the Executive room we had on the 38th floor. A bit on the small side but the hilton revamp has done a good job making good use of space and comfortable sleek furnishings.

Very comfortable bed, easy to work and relax in and good service from check in, room service and elsewhere.

The executive club was great in the evening --although I agree with the review that mentioned there was quite a bit of fried finger food. At breakfast though they couldnt cope with the numbers they had. While that happens sometimes, there was no call for back up or extra food or to quickly clear away plates for newcomers. A few businessman in more of a hurry than us were pretty unhappy.

But overall that was just a wrinkly and if I wasn't looking for a big room or a harbour view I'd go back for a comfortable night.

This is an amazing hotel in an amazing location. The service, room quality, restaurants, bars and location could not be beat. I had a newer room with the bathroom re-furnished on the 40th floor. I slept like a baby the entire time because they have these electric blinds that block out all outside light. I loved the glass enclosed shower and the tub was deep enough to take a long relaxing bath.

The restaurant on the 2nd floor serves an amazing (expensive) breakfast. The Zeta bar was world class and always attracted a good looking, affluent clientele. The hotel was located close to everything. Nothing was more than a block or two away. I also enjoyed having the coffee/food stand in the lobby. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This is a great hotel. It does cater to large conference groups but I never felt lost in the shuffle. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

One evening there was a long line up for taxis and I was worried that I would miss my dinner reservation. While staff were trying to help by calling a taxi, the wait would have been at least 15 minutes. One fellow took things into his own hands and ran full speed into the street and returned a few minutes later jogging beside a taxi to ensure that I got that car. I was very impressed.

As I booked on points I was able to use the Executive Lounge for breakfast which was very good and extensive. Cocktail hour was quite good as well, but a bit heavy on the fried finger foods. Really liked the fact they didn't charge for internet in the lounge.

Dinner at the hotel was very good in a sleek and sexy room. The one bedroom suite was large and spacious but the standard room, while beautiful with the glass walled bathroom, was very cramped. Okay for one person but very small for two. The glass walled bathroom is also a problem if you don't want to wake your partner in the morning which is impossible if you switch on the bathroom light as it floods through the glass wall into the bedroom.

Hotel is in a good location, not far from Circular Quay and Opera House and opposite the Queen Victoria Building which has great shopping and little cafes. Even if you're not interested in the shops it is worth a look as it has been beautifully restored.

Our 30th Wedding Anniversary stay at the Sydney Hilton could not have been better. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was perfect, and our dinner at the Glass Brasserie was most memorable. A special thank you to the concierges. Their recommendations were perfect, even the "take the gloves for the bridge climb" even if you think it is warm out.
