Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

Best cafes are at Bronte beach. try to go on a week day to avoid the crowds. Look out for whales migrating in Spring and Autumn. Dolphins any time of year.

While you are sydney this is must do trek. It provides breathtaking views all across the 6 km, where you cross some of pristine beaches. You may plan it either ways from bondi to coogee or vice versa.

Not a usual thing to do by a lot of people, even I didnt do it during my first visit to Sydney, however this is a must do. The walk is literally across the sea through small beaches and also rock faces. Its through this beautiful cemetery. If you are tired then start from clovelly beach and continue to Bondi. Do not start from Bondi and go reverse, it will be a bummer when it gets over. Bondi becomes like this trophy where you can chill after the walk.
Keep your swim wear, some food and a lot of time for this walk. There are beautiful beaches and rock pools on the way just to take a dip in.
