Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

Make sure you start at coogee and end up at icebergs. Lovely walk. Winter or summer. Some steepish parts and there can be some arrogant joggers but dont let them put you off. You may even see a whale between may and oct.

Hello,

Thank you for the review. The walk is easier if you start at Coogee but you miss the Lurline Bay wetlands.

Best regards,

Hello,

Thank you for the review. The best views of the walk including North Bondi are to be had from Maroubra-Lurline bay.

It was an amazing walk with stunning houses built into the amazing rocky cliffs - overlooking the incredible blue ocean. There were little bays of sandy beaches in between and also rock pools for swimming. I've travelled the world and haven't seen the wonders we have here in Australia. It was just fantastic!

Pick a sunny day and you won't be disappointed. Preferably a week day to avoid joggers who harrumph a lot if you impede their progress. Spectacular views, usually a cooling breeze and at the start or end somewhere to get a good coffee or food. Or take a picnic! If the surf is up there will be some good riders out having a ball. Not a difficult walk and plenty of places to sit and rest
