Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

“A nice morning walk”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

I usually do this coastal walk and have a spot of brunch at Bronte. It is lovely in the morning when there are not a lot of crowds and the weather isn't too hot. One can occasionally see dolphins as well.

Hello,

Thank you for the review. The walk is best enjoyed in the morning hours. By the time it gets busy you could be sitting down having a cup of coffee.

“29 August, 9 am, 29 degrees C. Is this really winter? Enjoying the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Sydney is a very young city compared to those in Europe, so I think it is always better to explore the natural wonders of such a city.
We spent a few hours on the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk. We commenced at the north end of Bondi Beach & walked along the beach to the first set of steps, near which is the Bondi Icebergs swimming pool where we also saw a Yoga class in session.
We walked along the coast & stopped for morning coffee at Tamarama before heading off to Coogee.
It was winter however Sydney is having an unusually warm winter & so it is best to wear layers & take water (although there are public filtered water stations along the walk).
The walk has sections with many steps & steep inclines however there are seats placed along the way, & many flat sections.
It was a great walk & we will definitely go back to do it again (we might start at the Coogee end next time).
