Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

“Beautiful”

Bondi is a fanstastic beach, perfect for surfing, hanging out or just watching the sea over a plate of fish and chips. The walk which is about 6km is fantastic, especially at dusk when you can see the town light up!

Hello,

Thank you for the review. The sculpture by the sea exhibition is held along the Bondi to Tamarama section of the walk every year around October. Over a 100 local and international artists exhibit their art work along the coastal walk.

“Stunning walk, see dolphins and whales if lucky!”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

Get the 333/380 bus from the city at circular quay and jump off top of Campbell Parade. Cross over into Notts Avenue past the Bondi Icebergs (where you can return for s bite and drink later!) and start the walk. All the way to Coogee is about an hour an 10 mins and stunning. Lots of small hills and a few steps. Ocean front all the way. Gorgeous must do in Sydney.

Hello,

Thank you for the review. It takes about two hours to complete the walk to Coogee unless you are running. You can catch a bus from Coogee to the City, Bondi Junction and Maroubra, there is no need to return to Bondi.

“A Beautiful Walk”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

The walk from Bondi to Coogee is beautiful. The coastline is stunning and we even managed to spot some migrating whales. It's tricky for young children to manage though. It's not fenced the entire way and we didn't feel comfortable letting our son walk it. Not stroller friendly either.

Hello,

Thank you for the review. One of the best places to watch the whales is the cliffs between Lurline bay and Maroubra.

Hello,

Thank you for the review. The beach with the old boats may be Gordon's bay between Clovelly and Coogee. The boats belong to the Gordon's bay fishing club. Gordon's bay is famous for it's natural beauty and the underwater nature trail.
