Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

The walkway is a bit undulating with a few stairs but not too taxing. The view is great along the coast. There are a few places along the way to stop for coffee or an ice cream like Tammarama or Clovelly Beach. We did the walk on a Sunday. We got to Bondi Beach via ferry and bus.

Hello,
Thank you for the review. Clovelly has a number of cafes and a pub located just behind the beach.
If you want to take a break from the walk, Clovelly village a minute from the beach is a great place to unwind.

We have done this walk every time we visit Sydney. It is an easy walk with lots of interesting beaches, shops and cafes along the way. No need to rush just enjoy the atmosphere. We usually get the bus to Coogee and then walk to Bondi having coffee on the way and watching the surfers, swimmers and enjoying the beachside ambience along the way.

Hello,

Thank you for the review. Next time please consider starting the walk at Bondi and walking all the way to Maroubra. Just past Coogee there is a board walk over restored wetlands, stunning Lurline bay and amazing views. There are amenities, cafes and a pub at Maroubra. Buses service Coogee, Bondi Junction, Randwick and the City regularly.

Lots of great cafes to stop off at on the way and you might even see whales if you're there at the right time!

The coastal walk is so beautiful. Try to avoid weekends when it is quite crowded but the views are spectacular.

Hello,

Thank you for your review.
The weekend is pretty crowded along the walk, best time to visit is just after sunrise preferably on a perfect sunny day. Avoid the crowds, take in the views and enjoy breakfast or coffee at one of the eateries along the way.
