Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

went there during the October sculpture exhibition on the water front - it was amazing. Don't forget to check transportation opportunities to bring you back, as it might be a very long walk

Loved the Bondi to Tamarama sculpture on the sea with lots of big and small scultpures placed across the hill and down into the sand. Just before the busy summer season it is a great time to visit and good break from the busy city

Parking and traffic nightmare to get to it but once there the walk is great. Better beach walks further north.

I do all or part of this walk everytime I visit my family in Clovelly. On the weekend it can get a little crowded and frenetic, especially the stretch from Bondi to Clovelly. Clovelly to Coogee and beyond is a little less so. As others have said before me Sculptures by the Sea is a great way to take in the section from Bondi to Tamarama - but it does get really crowded. I also recommend you have a meander through Bronte Cemetery and check out the tombstones.

The scenery on this walk is superb, with wonderful sandstone along the way, creating an artist's dream location. The annual Sculptures by the Sea prove how much better the natural beauty of the landscape is, although it is a fun event to visit.
