Really enjoyed our meal at Tapioca!

It was a family celebration and the first time any of us had been, but Tapioca had come highly recommended from some family friends. We now can see why!

We were there on a Tuesday night so it was pretty quiet - just us and one to two other tables there. I saw some other reviews saying it was really noisy but this certainly wasn't the case for us.

Friendly staff, nice décor, and hooray! It's BYO! (as well as licensed).

The entrees especially were to die for - we loved the chicken dumplings and "prawn mince wrapped in egg noodle' - just delicious! There was also something akin to money bags (but much fancier and more delicious) which went down a real treat.

The wagyu beef curry was also a highlight - melt in your mouth!

Pad Thai was nice, but exactly what you would expect from any Thai eatery - I'd suggest branching out and trying something else instead.

We will be back!

Be warned - the menu on their website is not 100% accurate, or has been updated, so don't get your heart set on something you see online.

Hidden gem on Military road. From the outside wouldn't have picked it as Thai. Reviews in newspaper posted in the window were spot on - excellent modern Thai cuisine. The dumplings were an art form in themselves. Scallops full of flavour. Mains were delicious too. A little more expensive than usual Thai but well worth it.

We tried it with a friend based on having heard it had gluten free options. It did, lots.

The lightness, taste, texture and service was just like being in our favourite Thai resort. The restaurant was spacious and not dominated by the traffic noise from outside.

Even the tofu was wonderful, stir fried with a variety of mushrooms.

It is not so much your average Thai restaurant in Sydney but a much more tasty and enjoyable experience.

We will go back.

we were getting together for the first time in about 4 years and decided to try Tapioca. The food was different but very enjoyable with a lot of different style courses offered compared to the standard Thai. We spent the whole evening on a quiet Wednesday evening being the last to leave, however service was excellent and the food was divine. Really would recommend
