“Not one I would recommend - Poor service and expensive”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We were keen to try the tapas menu for a Saturday lunch, not so busy when we arrived however got busy as the service went on. We ordered and waited for drinks, we waited for someone to come back and take our order, we waited for advice on what was available as it was the beginning of service and they had already ran out of buns and other ingredients. The staff were apologetic, we waited for over an hour for food and that was after reminding them of the order. The food that did arrive was nice but way to expensive for what it was. Beer was cold. I cannot fault the staff only the management for not having the essential ingredients for the base menu in stock for the start of a service, and having enough staff to accommodate the lunch crowd. All in all I would not return as there are plenty of other really interesting and well appointed cafes and restaurants around this area that will surprise and delight you without the wait and disappointment of no ingredients. Note the kitchen staff were working as fast as they could with what they had, so hats off to getting food up in that environment.

“Nice atmosphere, poor service, OK food, OK hygiene”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

Myself and 3 friends ate here for lunch on a Saturday. The menu looked interesting and the atmosphere quirky.
Upon ordering, many menu items were out of stock and the person taking the order had to continually ask the kitchen if certain items were available.
The beef burgers were good and arrived in reasonable time but the fajitas took 45min to arrive.
Cleanliness wasn't very good. I asked for cutlery and they rinsed some in the sink and handed it over.
I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return.

“Extremely poor service, avoid”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

Happened upon this place on the way home from shopping in Paddington, and stopped in for a drink. Ordered 2 fruit granitas. After 30 mins, these hadn't arrived - we could see they were busy but had also seen others order after us and get drinks before us. Went up to the counter and enquired about our order, we were told rudely that they were very busy and that our order was definitely in the queue. 20 more minutes passed (50 mins total!!), still no drinks. At this point we wanted to leave, so asked for a refund. This was given, along with a rather terse apology and no explanation of how this had happened when we had already reminded them of our order. No offer of compensation apart from the refund. We won't ever be coming back to this place, suggest you give it a miss as the service is incredibly poor.

“Very poor experience”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

Drove to Sydney to try this place out.
Ordered food and they were out of the correct product and for what you paid for.
There was no greeting to any customer
The store could do with a good clean.
Ordered a drink and they did not even have the correct glass to serve it in as they were all broken.
I expected much more from this franchise model.

“Tied and dirty, but good concept and OK food.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

Good concept, but could do with a good clean. Sticky tables and chairs and generally in need of a freshen. Staff excellent. Breakfast good, but not outstanding. Probably a great place to visit at night. I will return to check it out later.
