One of our locals, we call in occasionally for dine in or takeaway. The food is always good, hot, varied & tasty, great pizza. Prices are fair (especially for Sydney) & service friendly.

Sydney is pricy anywhere nowadays, but every bite of pizza from Libiamo is always wonderful. I highly recommend Libiamo's Wednesday night $15 Takeaway Pizza special. You won't be disappointed.

My husband is italian and its hard to find excellent pizza in Sydney at reasonable price. It's now our local drop in for friendly dinner after work.

Parking is not easy but we have Vespa!

It's pouring and chilly (for Sydney, that is) and you open the door to this lovely trattoria to be welcomed by the bright smile of Loris and the heat of the pizza oven - all's well with the world! The food is unabashedly comfort food, no fancy tricks here. Everything is just good, like nonna used to cook. Pasta with the ragù of the day is rib-stickingly good. The pizza (made by Loris) is thin-crust and delicious - one will do fine as an entré for 2 or, with a plate of mixed antipasto, for 4. The service can sometimes be a bit uneven, but hey, it's ok, it's our local - and if you don't feel like getting dressed, they even deliver!

Libiamo opened its doors in 2008 and has been creating fabulous Italian trattoria style food from the Emilia-Romagna region ever since. The owner, Loris Ragazzi, is very warm and welcoming and greets everyone that comes through the door like old friends. You leave here after every dining experience with a smile that comes from feeling like you’ve spent the night in Italy. It's slightly addictive.

The menu offers a great selection of wood-fired pizzas, some classic home-made pastas, antipasti and a small selection of mains. There are daily specials to choose from and the wine list is also extensive with both Australian and Italian wines.

I have slowly but surely made my way through everything on the menu and most of the specials so can say with confidence I'd recommend it all, but of course I have favourites! For entrée it would be the stuffed zucchini flowers or bruschetta, for the main course it would be the pumpkin and amaretti filled tortelloni with sage butter and for dessert the chocolate salami. These are specials and not always available so consider yourself blessed if you see them, and ORDER THEM, they're spectacular. However in saying that, Loris who mans the pizza oven, cooks the best pizzas in Sydney. Everything that comes out of that wood-fired oven is sublime so really, you can't lose.

To finish off a perfect night try a glass of home-made limoncello. It's a mix of delicious sweet and lemony flavours with a big alcoholic punch. Best stick to one if you don't want a headache in the morning.
