“Great meal”

We've eaten here a few times and the food is consistently good. It's reasonably expensive but this isn't surprising given the touristy location and the atmosphere great with friendly relaxed service.

“Good Steaks...”

They never dissapoint with their Steak Quality but you'd better be ready to pay for it. I understand they opened another one in Singapore and my mate says Singapore Cut is better. We will be in Singapore soon and we will certainly visit their restaurant in Singapore. Now let's go back to Sydney 'Cut'... The service is as good as their steaks... no surprises with their good recommendation for wine, souce and timely delivery. As I said it is expensive but it is worth it.

“A must for the carnivore”

Delicious steaks, expensive but worth it. Four of us dined there last night and we each had a different type of steak. Tasmanian eye fillet, Waygu scotch fillet, Tasmanian rib eye and 4 hour roast beef. All were very different in taste but everyone was very happy with their choices. Sides are ordered as extras, we had the rosemary potatoes, heirloom tomatoes and the mixed greens. Generous servings of bread are offered free of charge. Main courses are expensive but servings are large. Excellent ambience and service. A must for the carnivore.

“Quality beef at the Rocks”

Solid restaurant with great ambience, good acoustics and very helpful but not pompous staff. The oysters were sublime and the variety of meats, sauces and mustards was tantalising.

Not unbelievably expensive given the quality ($480 with wine for 4 people in our case).

“Great Steaks”

Been to The Cut a few times on visits to Sydney and and have never been disappointed with the steaks or the service. Waiter was very helpful and had some good suggestions. It is not cheap to eat at The Cut but Sydney is an expensive place at current US dollar exchange rates so accept it. Wine list is above average but it would be nice if they offered a corkage fee for BYO.
