Description: Nestled in Sydney's Ash Street laneway, this elegant bistro’s classic French fare is perfectly matched by an extensive wine list. Felix is affectionately designed as a romantic homage to the quintessential French brasserie. Diners are charmed by its many authentic touches; like walls featuring real Parisian subway tiles, imported French chandeliers, a beautiful pewter bar and food delivered by waiters in traditional long-aprons.

Fairly classical french bistro, with great atmosphere. All dishes well executed. The steak frites is a beauty. Extensive range of wines by the glass, except not many bubbles. Wines quickly go stratospheric. All up terrific package.Shares laneway atmosphere with China Lane (good chinese/asian option)

I really enjoyed the room and our waiter was fantastic on this fine night. Once the meals arrived, service dropped and we dealt somewhat rushed. Not sure if we will return

Very busy, Tuesday night, as we had no booking, we had to wait a few minutes in the bar section, staff were attentive while we waited. Entree was mushrooms, which were a delight, very rich but a great start. Main was a barramundi fillet, which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. A thoroughly enjoyable and bustling bistro ambiance. Would eat here again. One word of advice, the wine list is very extensive and quite pricey!

Nothing I did not like. Great ambience, service and wine list. Typical French bistro flare. Very close to the Shangri-La

We tried Felix on the recommendation of a friend from Sydney. We visited on an evening early in the week and without a reservations. Luckily there was a table free so we were seated immediately. I can imagine this place being packed out later in the week and at the weekends. The food was delicious, wine list good and service very friendly.
