Looking at the bright and powerful boat, we knew we were in for a good time, and we were not disappointed. Our trip started in Cockle Bay wharf, Darling Harbor, I believe the company runs trips from a number of convenient locations in Sydney Harbor. I booked through an internet adventure company, but the company also had ticket sales from the wharf.
Our driver Allan, greeted the group, helped us to our seats, went through safety aspects and trip details. We were told that the boat will be jumping and performing power slides. Allan also went through the preparation to the power slides so that everyone on board was prepared and knew which direction we will spin.
We took off very slowly through Cockle bay under the Pyrmont Bridge and out to the Harbor Bridge. That alone was awesome.
Very shortly after he opened up the throttle and the adventure began.
After each power slide, Allan would turn around to gauge the passengers reaction, each time everyone wore a beaming smile. There was no reason to voice the obvious. There were slides, fish tales, spins and jump over the waves.
Allan also pointed out areas of significance throughout our trip. On the return we again drifted back to base slowly which gave us another chance to see areas up and close that we wouldn't normally see.
Overall everyone was happy with their trip and we cannot wait to return so our teenage son can enjoy this. This way my wife and I benefit also.

There were 4 of us and thought it would be a great way to see the harbour adventure style. It was a fun way to spend 30 minutes, but even with 4 of us at a cost of $50 pp, it isn't cheap. It can throw you around a little, so be prepared and be prepared to get drenched, even with the raincoats on. A lot of fun though.

Fantastic jet boat trip. Literally walked out of the Sydney Aquarium on new years eve & decided to just go for it. We had our two children (10 & 8) who absolutely loved it & couldn't get enough of the sharp turns - particularly as you'll get soaked! Having said that, we wore the waterproof macs they provide & we just opted not to wear the hoods on ours. A lady behind us almost closed the hood on hers so she could hardly see anything, what a waste! You take off your shoes & leave bags etc in boxes that remain with the shore based crew. Wish I'd thought about taking my waterproof camera with us, as we weren't offered any photos from their go-pro camera.
The boat driver was great, always checking the passengers as previous reviews have described. Fabulous way to experience the harbour & a trip you won't forget in a hurry!

Firstly, this boat trip is way too expensive. You pay $65 for 30 minutes per person, absolutely ridiculous.
Secondly, it is very noisy and annoying to all residents and other tourists hanging out close to Circular Quay.
Lastly, many people broke their back on these jetboats because there were so irresponsible to go full power on some big waves.

A great way to see the harbour and really good photo deal at the end... They have a go pro onboard which the driver uses to take videos and pics which you can purchase at the end on a memory stick for $29 which was really good value compared to other places. It lasts for about 30 mins and there is a combination of stops and spins which get you absolutely drenched - great fun!
