Owner description: We are architects and we want to share our city with you. We organise intimate walking and bicycle tours that are open to the general public. We also arrange private / customised architectural tours and itineraries on request. Taking the form of a series of urban provocations, our conversations are straightforward and jargon-free exercises in story telling. Aimed at the expert-enthusiast, we want you to understand the 'why' of the city whilst exploring the most provocative and daring projects Sydney houses; works of architecture, public art and landscape that inspire and delight but also projects that reveal something of Sydney's grimy pulse. We are interested in ideas and in the drivers of city; the vibrant network of invisible forces - political, cultural, economic and environmental that give the city form. Get stung by architecture. Sydney will never look the same again. We promise!

I've been on three walks. All outstanding. On each, the age range and backgrounds went from children to oldies. There is no patronising, no smart alecky remarks, no woeful jokes. Just a small group led gently by an architect with a passion for the city. Two hours? I could have gone for longer.

And what a place to gather for the walks - the excellent Museum of Sydney in itself worthy of a long visit.

Inspiring experience for those interested in architecture, the city or just articulate, passionate and inspiring commentry and moving story telling about the history of Australias built icon. The Sydney Opera House tour led by Eoghan was a beautiful and memorable way to spend a morning in Sydney.

My wife is an architect so when ever we go to a new city we see if there is an architectural tour. This was far and away the best architectural tour of any major city we have been on. We were in Australia for 2 weeks, did Brisbane, Port Douglas, Cairnes and Sydney and this tour has been the most discussed part of our trip. Our leader was knowledgeable, informative, interesting and really funny.

We took the Utzon tour and completely shifted my thinking on the building that is the centerpiece of the city.

At the end of the tour they also give out a little booklet with maps of their tours and some of their favorite places and things in the city and it made the rest of our trip. We ended up roaming around Surry Hills looking for an art shop and had an amazing afternoon.

We met a number of people who were heading to Sydney once we returned and this is the #1 thing we tell them to look into.

I can't recommend it enough.

Eoghan took us on a journey through Sydney culture and history, architectural theory and concepts, urban planning and environmental topics with a huge dose of passion, knowledge and thinking outside the box! Thoroughly enjoyable without ever getting boring. Being an architect myself I thought it was awesome, thought provoking and inspiring! I know the non-architects partakers in this tour equally enjoyed it!

Whether an architect (I am) or an informed lay person (for whom these walks are intended), this is definitely likely to be the most worthwhile few hours and modest fee you could invest during your exploration of Sydney. While the particular walk we took was seemingly very focused and constrained (three modern buildings within a radius of two blocks in the downtown), in the hands of articulate, passionate, and knowledgeable guide Eoghan it was soon apparent that the scope of our exploration and learning would encompass much of the history and development of Sydney and our physical focus would reach an area far beyond our modest trajectory. Don't miss this!
