Lindsay (guy) was a great tour guide. He picked us up at the hotel in a nice air-conditioned bus that even had wifi! The trip was very comfortable and Lindsay was very knowledgable about all of the areas that we visited. Lindsay was able to get us in before the rest of the tourist crowds. I would boom another tour with this company the next time that we visit Australia.

Scott took us on a great trip to the Blue Mountains. Awe inspiring scenery and history. Scott was very informative and made the whole day so great added to by telling us about his cycle back to Oz from the UK. The only very slight downer was the not so Aborigine characters at the Cultural Centre.

Our tour of the Blue Mountains tried to show us everything and to do everything on a very tight schedule, and we often felt rushed. A piece of me was glad that we were getting the maximum possible value for our money, but a different piece was wishing that we could have spent more time really enjoying the Wildlife Park or Scenic World or the Aboriginal Center instead of rushing around, constantly checking our watches to make sure we'd get back to the bus on time.

That said, we did enjoy the tour. The driver was excellent, knew his way around, knew the schedules of the various attractions and mostly got us there ahead of the biggest crowds. He even treated us to a tiny stuffed Koala at Featherdale -- a mini-souvenir! The bus was comfortably air-conditioned -- a real blessing, since the temps outdoors were in the 40s -- and our group was small enough that we didn't feel crowded. The driver kept up a running commentary (when there was something interesting to say) and very patiently answered our many questions. He also kept us informed about where we were headed, how long it would take to get there, and what to expect when we arrived.

The extra fee at Scenic World was high, and not really worth it to us since we were hurried through the rides at maximum speed and whisked away again. Mostly, what we got for the extra fee was the opportunity for photos of the Three Sisters and the waterfall (properly visible only from the gondola).

We were glad that the tour was available to us (it was on short notice) and that it included so much. I think the folks who opted for the two-day (overnight) tour probably had the right idea. The Blue Mountains are worth more than just a few hours.

Hi Kris
Many thanks for taking the time to make such a constructive and honest review. We have been looking at this tour and agree that there's too much content for a 1 day tour and will soon make some changes which will allow for a more leisurely pace, longer stops at the most important areas and leave the dropped items to be taken by those staying overnight.
We hope you can make it back one day and join another of our tours.
Kindest regards, Don

The trip was nice, the scenery was pleasant but it almost felt rushed at times, especially at the Aboriginal Cultural Center. I was unaware that certain elements of the trip were going to be ‘extra’ beyond what was already paid for which I had not planned for. I enjoyed getting into the Featherdale Wildlife Park before it opened to the public. I had the 'Alpha Kangaroo' take to me and one of the park keepers took some amazing photos for me of those moments with ‘my Roo’. That experience with a very unique Kangaroo who followed me around was wonderful. I did enjoy the commentary from our driver and the smaller group that we traveled with, 9 people.

Scott took us on a great trip to Hunter Valley. Not only did we get to taste delicious wines, but we got to pet a koala, feed kangaroos, and taste cheese and chocolate. He packed a lot into a day trip. He was very friendly and informative. We enjoyed it thoroughly!
