Owner description: Quality and comfort are the hallmarks of Magistic Cruises and it can be seen in all its dining and cruising products, making the Magistic Two Sydney’s most popular multi-purpose catamaran. We offer a range of cruises on Sydney Harbour that include sightseeing, lunch and dinner cruises, where customer satisfaction is guaranteed at every touch point. We do not compromise on the comfort and quality of the experience we offer, doing our best to ensure that everyone walks away with a smile. The spacious dining deck is lined with panoramic windows and has reserved restaurant-style seating for guests. With a freshly prepared buffet for the dining cruises and a licensed bar on board, a Magistic Cruise experience is definitely worth it!

We got given a voucher for a wedding present. We where so excited to go on the cruise but wasn't what we expected at all. We where seated at our table, we where basically dining with the table next to us, when asked if we could go outside it costs an extra $20 but its full tonight. Before we even set sail the staff came around and said the buffet is open, the line wrapped around our table with people bumping into us, commenting on the food we where eating, watching us, and blocking our view out the window. I have no idea why the staff made a line form that way. There is no table service, you have to get your own drinks from the bar. Main and dessert was average, we both commented that the bread roll was the best part.
There was no commentary of what locations we where sailing by, been a visitor and wanting to know more, it would of been good to know, especially when it's dark and hard to see land formations.
When we looked around the boat 1.5hrs into the cruise about 20% of people looked board and just want to get off.
I've never seen such a rush of people going to the exit door as soon as the boat pulled back into the dock.

We booked for Magistic Dinner Cruise with buffet but we were upgraded to Showboat Cruise with 3 course dinner at no additional cost. We are very pleased with the cruise. The food was good. The wait staffs were friendly. The show was awesome. The magician was entertaining. The views from the deck were splendid. It was very romantic too.

We opted for an hour's cruisesmart cruise along Sydney harbour. The cruise was okay but there was so much noise on deck we couldn't hear the commentary so came away somewhat disappointed.

We spent Christmas Day on this luncheon cruise, Day started badly pouring rain no shelter queuing in the rain as tickets checked, cost per head 130 plus drinks, this was the worst harbour cruise I have ever been on, Food buffet at one end and people lining up at least 20 minutes to even reach, felt like school canteen, awful tinsel decorations, food tasteless and boring, entertainment was Christmas carols and a Skinny Santa, felt ashamed that this is the best we can offer. Cheap coffee, could not wait to get off, Aircon up high freezing, Last year we went on Captain Cook so much better and cheaper. We will never go again will spend it at five star hotel for lunch, much better value, nicer surroundings ie no plastic chairs. Sydney Harbour is divine and I am lucky enough to live on it, Please for tourists to our gorgeous city lift your game and give them what they pay for. No thought given at all.

We were treated to a dinner cruise last night (18 November) by two friends and were not at all sure what to expect on board. Our opinion .... wonderfully surprised :-). Thanks to Nancy, we were directed to a quiet spot upstairs to start our cruise and supped bubbles accompanied to a couple of plates of very good oysters and excellent prawns as we "set sail". We sat alone (why do people queue for the buffet before even leaving the wharf !!???) with one of the best views in the world - the Opera House and Harbour Bridge fading slowly in to the distance in a glorious sunset ...

As the evening turned a little more chilly it was time to head back inside to our dining table for the hot food and there were some excellent choices. As a non-meat eating diner, there were plenty of options for me - from mussels to a very tasty fish curry. To finish off the evening, it was back upstairs for a nightcap as we sailed back into King St Wharf.

My only comment would be that it would have been lovely to have had a cheese option on the desert table, but other than the evening was perfect.
