Rob really knows the area as well as being passionate about both his job and ensuring YOU have a great time. His knowledge of the area is top notch, as is his attention to detail, not to mention his professionalism. I highly recommend this tour. From start to finish my expectations were not only met but exceeded. The harbor boat ride is a very nice touch to finish the day.

Our guide was Alex who picked us up from our hotel at a horribly early time. Alex though was really bright and breezy and in the the end turned out to be one of the best guides we have had anywhere, ever.

The first port of call were the Blueridge Mountains. As we had just come from spending a month in New Zealand the BRM's were a bit "so what(ish)"; but if you come from most other places they would seem impressive.

The highlight of the tour for us was the Featherdale Animal Sanctuary, where you could walk with all sorts of animals including Koalas and Wallabies.

Overall it was a great day out and it ended with firstly a drive through the Olympic Park, with Alex regaling the Brits with the fact that Sydney had the BEST EVER games, and then a ferry return to Sydney circular key.

Great value for money.

Alex, the guide provided a great day for us showing us all the sites. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and made the tour a great one.
I would highly recommend the tour to the Scenic World - railway, cableway, and the Jamison Valley. The Oborginal center and wildlife park were fun.
All of the meals and breaks were outstanding especially the scones.

This was our first visit to Sydney and we had been recommended by friends to take the time and visit the Blue Mountains. We booked this trip online with Blue Diamond Tours - the service was incredible, we were met by Alex at our hotel 7.15 am, the tour was a small group of 4 couples (including ourselves) and one family of 4 (2 very young and very well behaved children) - very intimate and great fun. The whole day was magnificent, on top of visiting the marvellous Jamieson Valley, we also experienced the worlds steepest railway, the scenic cableway where we saw spectacular views of the 3 Sisters . We visited the Aboriginal Culture Centre at Katoomba and experienced traditional song & dance, after a lovely lunch at the local Royal Hotel we then went onto visit Featherdale Wildlife Park - again a most memorable experience. Alex added in a couple of extra sites for us - the Kingstable and the Olympic Park. Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly, he really made the day for us and we all enjoyed both his company and commentary. He rounded off what was a fantastic day by taking us to meet the ferry to cruise the Pararamatta River back to Circular Quay - we given a lovely picture as a momento and we were also met there by the young couple who own Blue Diamond Tours (their dog and the baby bump) - a lovely intimate touch & we wish them all every success in future.

We took this tour on April 7, the day before we were to sail on the Solstice. Paul was our guide. he picked us up at our hotel at 7 am - a nice touch since we were expecting to walk to a meeting point. At the next hotel some of the group wasn't ready so he went on to yet another hotel before coming back to pick up these tourists. Rain was forecast for the day but it held off until later in the afternoon. Our views were great. Just enough clouds in the valleys to offer interesting photo ops. Clear enough to get some great views. Paul was very good - entertaining and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his narrating. The morning snack stop was appreciated and we had some good views...just had to walk over to the window - no problem. Also enjoyed our lunch - I got the fish and chips..yum! Going back we were put on a ferry - personally I enjoyed it even though it started to rain. It was our only ferry ride while in Sydney. We have no complaints for the trip. No, it's not cheap and due to the weather forecast we were given the opportunity to cancel and get a refund. I'm glad we took the chance - couldn't have asked for a better day. Loved the Featherdale Wildlife Park, too. Paul gave us a little info about the animals and took photos of us with a Koala, too. We recommend Blue Diamond tours.
