Stayed here and really, very bad. Do not stay here. It's a very dirty place. We would rather stay on the streets than here. Stay away people. Hope I now don't get sick from the filth..they don't care either, it's like they are happy you have crap room

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights on recent business trip to Sydney. My wife rang to enquire on there proximity to train station before making a booking and also availability of wifi in rooms. She was told they were located a short distance away, a few mins walk from Central Station. This in fact is a brisk 25 min walk away. Wi is non existent in the room. The room was clean,. However the bed was very old and bed cover was badly stained. The TV set was tiny. The bathroom was clean but the shower had broken tiles and dirty caulking around the base. To sit on the lavatory I had to sit sideways as there was no room to accommodate legs. I'm average hight and build. To have a shave was almost impossible as there wasn't room left to move an arm between the wall and shower screen. My wife was unable to dry off and style her hair for our business meeting because there was no hair dryer. We had a towel each , no bath at ,hand towel or face washer were supplied. We had to pay an extra $20. Deposit for the 2 towels, although this was returned on check out. . Each night we were kept awake by loads of noise coming from other room across the hallway. Over all very disappointing. Will definitely not be staying with this hotel again.

Room Tip: Don't go by Internet photo as it all looked fine.

Honestly one of the worst nights of my life. If you actually are planning on sleeping while staying here dont bother. You are probably going to get a better night sleep in your car. The walls where paper thin, i think the beds hadnt been updated since the 1900s', the pillows are weird (and there are diffrent types on each bed), the TV's only have 3 analog stations on them. AWFUL, just plain AWFUL.

Room Tip: Ask for one that has a window.

I don't know why people have such bad reviews ,
This place is very good for what you pay for.
It's a good location with heaps of shops around.

It's clean, and in good condition.

Would go here again for sure.

My friends and I chose to stay at Parkview after a girl's night out in the city. Booking at late notice, there weren't many options. And $300 for 6 of us sounded like a great deal.

It wasn't.

The room was disgusting. Cockroaches, blood stains on the walls / ceiling / mattress, holes in the wall, stains all over the carpet, black grout in the shower and a nasty, moldy smell that even lingered in our nostrils as we departed the next morning. The air conditioner would have been the one good thing, had it not continuously short circuited.

The man at reception was lovely, but his female partner was unpleasant. Upon discovering not one but two secret exit doors from the bathroom and being understandably excited, the female receptionist threatened us with eviction if we continued to be noisy. It was 3:30pm. We also approached her later because there were no towels in our room, and instead of apologizing, she handed then over without a word and continued talking on the phone.

It's a great location, literally next to Broadway shopping centre but really, if you can stay elsewhere, please do.

Although refunded half my costs, I would have been happier to pay full cost and have a TV that had ALL the channels, coffee cups that weren't used and dirty and HOT water for the shower. Staying at Parkview was a humbling experience.
