I took a course a few years back with Eastsail and haven't been off the water since. The instructors are all well experienced and good trainers that make the time fun. Since then I've done a few of the Eastsail programs including racing around the Whitsunday's at Hamilton Island and you never get sick of the summer twilights on the Harbour...stunning.

My wife and I have completed a number of individual sail training days and weekends with Eastsail as a part of the RYA Competent Crew. Over the course of those days we have had three different instructors and have been happy with all of them. The ability to walk directly onto the boats at the marina has been a plus, as opposed to being ferried out via dinghy. They spent a lot of time reinforcing all the safety features of the boats and general best practices whilst sailing. That has provided us with a strong grounding for future learning. We have done a bareboat charter since completing the Competent Crew course and were pleased with how much of our training had sunk in. Our two overnight moorings at Lovett Bay and America Bay (on the 'offshore' weekends) were idyllic. We combined individual training days with friends with weekends with strangers and really enjoyed excellent company each time.

East sail is a fantastic way to see the harbour. You can sit on the side of the boat and relax or you can jump down the back and grind away.

Our company orgaized a 4 hour Corporate Challenge with this company and we all agreed it was one of the best things our company had done. We first of all learned how to put the sails up Tack the boat and then enjoy ourseleves.

They provided a great Afternnon tea of Cheese and biscuits as well as fresh fruit. It was great to sail on Sydney harbour and just enjoy the sites. We had to do a Treasure Chalenge and at teh end had a race wiuth teh other four boats. It was pretty competitive and we made up a lot of time after our Instructor read teh Instructions wrong and we were way behind the others at the start.

I would highly recomend it for a Mid 20's day not too hot and not too cold. We all had heaos of fun. It was amazing seeing teh yacht leaning right over with us sitting on teh side just like they do on teh Sydney Hobart. Well maybe not that extreme but she she did have a fair lean to her when we were going well.

Great learning experience.
