Ate at Sake last night for our wedding anniversary and could not have had a better experience. Food was sensational and service was faultless. Our waitress was super efficient and paid particular attention to helping with our choices when we mentioned that I am pregnant. Must try dishes are the dumplings, lettuce cups, pork belly skewers and the fondant. Best night out in Sydney for a long time.

I was on my way to the holiday when I stumbled across this restaurant, the atmosphere when I entered was very appealing. You could see it was a up market Japanese Restaurant. I was not disappointed the food was excellent. It had the right combination of flavours and a great menu. The staff are very professional and attentive. The restaurant has a great ambiance. I would difficulty recommend this restaurant for good quality food and service.

I went to Sake with friends on a Tuesday night and we had a lot of fun. Food is delicious, service was great and the restaurant has a nice ambience. Despite the main servings being on the small side and the food being a bit pricey, I would still definitely return

Went to Sake last Friday night for a 6:30 sitting. Overall, a terrible experience. They really rushed our meal, obviously to get the next sitting in. The pressure was quite extraordinary. Every dish pretty much came at the same time, and it is set up for share plates, so by the time we were finishing, some dishes were cold. Then they forgot one of our meal (wagyu teriyaki) and totally cleared our table in their rush to get us out. Whilst all this was happening we could not converse properly as the music was so loud. And not good music, just a repetitive bass beat that was so irritating. This restaurant has gone downhill pretty quickly. Service is very poor, and they seem totally focussed on hiring only stunning, leggy, busty girls who don't seem to know the first thing about good service. Extremely disappointing. Food is good, but very overpriced, as is the wine and beers ($11.50 for a Sapporo!). if you want the best Japanese food in Sydney, Azumas in Chifley Tower beats this place very comfortably on every level.

Great service by all!
Perfectly cooked and prepared meals.
The cocktails are a little pricey, but worth it.
