Corellis has been a haunt for some years - thanks mainly to a child attending the high school next door. The Texas sized muffins where what drew us in initially (They are very good by the way). Over the years we have always had a decent meal, good coffee and a lot of fun watching the world go by. To look at it is not everyone's cup of "chai" and I could see how it could polarize opinions but it offers a great snapshot of the eclectic Newtown scene. Service can be a little uneven, especially when busy but the regular crew who work there are spot on in my opinion offering up decent food at reasonable prices. A lot of cafes come and go on the King St strip and Corellis is still there. Has to be doing something right.
