Room was very small but was ideal for a couple of nights stay. Walked with our bags to the ship terminal so was very close and handy.
Milan was very helpful at the front desk and made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was buffet style and was very nice.

The hotel rooms are quite small but they were clean and tidy. Double glazing in the Sydney CBD was a bonus. Great location for Darling Harbour access. Good value for money.
Staff were helpful but I did not need to interact with them so can't really comment on service level.

Stayed overnight May 2013, room very clean, staff fruendly, brekky little overpriced but nice.
Good location, some great restaurants and bars overlooking the water close by with great happy hour deals. Bottle shop also located on next block.

Still suprises me a lot of restaurants dont supply wine glasses including this one, so I take my own,

Room Tip: Didnt go to pool or fitness centre

We stayed at the Ibis in early May 2013, our room was very clean, good location only 1.5km walk from the city and close to bars and restaurants. The staff were pleasant, buffet breakfast ($22 a head) looked quite ordinary so we took a short walk to the harbour for a big breakfast for $13 each!

The hotel has very nice helpful staff but otherwise is disappointing. Rooms are tiny. OK if you've no luggage but there's no room for your cases and wardrobe space would just about do for 1 person staying 1 night. Also bizarrely we were told that it is company practice not to supply hand towels in the bathroom. Breakfasts are OK but overpriced, and like most Australian hotels they have the nerve to add a surcharge for credit card payments. On arrival we were offered a voucher for a 15% discount off the breakfast price but when we came to pay on checkout were told the discount doesn't apply to the continental breakfast. On the plus side the location is good in terms of proximity to public transport and walkable to most main attractions. However one side of the hotel is very closely overlooked by KPMG offices so there is little privacy from the window.

This is a hotel that provides a very good basic service. A bit of a suprise not to have carpet int he hotel room but floor boards instead. This gives it a strange feeling when you first arrive but you quickly get used to it. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. I was a bit afraid the large traffic flow next to the hotel would cause a lot of noise when sleeping but this proved not to be the case. All was quite and good. Positioned almost on Darling harbour made it great for places to eat and the hotel has some deals to give you if you ask.
Ibis do it well for a solid good value for money hotel experience and this is no exception.

Always happy with Ibis, this particular hotel had a really great location and a good price tag as well. Just a 2 minute walk and you are at the Aquarium, Madam Tussauds and the Chinese gardens. Hotel is quite modern and had very friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this one!
