We stayed here for one night in January in 2011. While the room was large and clean, the shared spaces of the hotel were smelly and were not airconditioned. For $200+ this was poor value for money compared to what else is available in the area.

Internet connection and parking were very very expensive!!!

Stayed here last month for 3 nights for my birthday. 5 mins walk from the train station and very easy to find. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. The lift was modern and very clean. Upon arrival we were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. It was very spacious, clean and the furniture was modern and new. The bathroom was very clean and the pressure in the shower was very good. As advertised there wasn't any view but we didnt expect one being right in the centre of the city. The location of the hotel was perfect. 2 min walk to the best Irish pub in town, where we had an amazing night on the Sunday as there was a `turn` on and they were the best Irish pub band we had seen in ages!!!!!
All in all we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again. Having stayed in several parts of Sydney, ie The Rocks etc... this location is by far the best.

We stayed here for two nights and found the accommodation very comfortable. We assume we were in an accessible apartment (Room 508) because there was a hand rail beside the toilet and a ramp up to the bathroom. There was no lid on the toilet and it was very high (a bit tricky with small children) but we were glad to have the extra space. There was also a large bathroom with no lip on the shower but this meant the water went all over the floor. There were no other features to make the room wheelchair friendly so it seemed a bit token to me. For instance the kitchen and vanity required standing but the room suited our needs very well.

We had a king bed, sofa bed for miss 3 and cot for master 1 (free of charge). They also supply a baby bath and high chair free on request. The beds were all comfortable and warm.

The kitchen was in between the bedroom and lounge where the children slept, It had a decent-sized fridge, and full cooking facilities. We did not find glasses for drinking but there we so many cupboards, we got tired of looking. The large bench space was handy. Having that separation between us and them meant we could do things after the children had gone to bed and even stay in the room while our son had his daytime nap.

There were lots of places to eat and shop around the apartments and it was a 2 min walk to George Street, a major transport corridor. We thought the location was excellent. We got a good deal by emailing the reception directly and found they were very helpful and accommodating. We only wanted parking for 2 hours and were not charged the $35 parking fee which we greatly appreciated.

We would certainly stay here again because it suited us so well. There was enough room for the children to have some fun running around and this is rare at the price we paid in central locations.

If you are travelling in a Wheelchair don't stay there. They advertise x 2 accessible appartments. This means the doorways are wide enough to get a wheelchair through and thats where it ends. No shower chair, no hand held shower rose, no hand rails in the shower, no hand rails beside the loo (although 1 very small 1 BEHIND the loo) a full size vanity unit so u cant get to the sink to wash hands or brush teeth from a wheelchair!!! A bed on Wheels!!! An impossible kitchen from a wheelchair. I actually felt very unsafe there.

*first stay Aug 2009 the room was ok, odd shape 1 bed room apartment, with bedroom being funny shape to the point where the master bed is bigger than the room,
* 2 LCD tv's bonus the smaller one had a yellow line on it, the bigger one had DVD player and stereo, foxtel and unrestricted tv channels made it worthwile,
* room is quite compact sofabed will get in the way during night times the room is a funny shape
*not much of a view from the balcony only could see street level of Goulburn street, not very high up, noisy saturday night, could be located in the part of the CBD where its riskay,
*close to things, the alley where the entry to the apartments is dark and dingy.
*the swimming pool is like a bus or train very thin in wdith but very long in length and heated,
no poolside furniture to place your towel and the smell of vegatable oil could be smelt from the farside of the pool, pool is quite closely situated to surrounding cafes and bars so allot of cooking smealls can be smelt
*the lack of gymanisium equipment not good,
* nice modern kitchen.and bathrooms
*the first time staying up there was a nightmare i did have lack of sleep maybe because i had to go into work the next day on the sunday or the aircond was not right, the noise from the street and the credit card problem of double charging at check out and claiming that we were wrong and they were right,
* we gave this place a second chance and stayed again so on the second time in Jan 2010 our second visit was a good pleasent stay
* upon arriving at the hotel we were allowed to store our luggage at reception (we were too early) and we were allowed to use the private bathrooms to change for the concert
* upon getting access to our room the first time the was a smell of toliet odour(sewage) we were moved to another room, we were upgraded to the second room which was better the place was full due to saturday night and a hens group not much of a choice of rooms
* nothing changed the second time except for a room with a view of Goulburn street, instead of the first room (toilet odour room) view of a construction site, room was similar/exact to the first time we stayed here
*Goulburn street and where the apartment is located is in the thick of partyland so expect drunks, allnight doof doof music and sirens

Upon checking in, although I had booked accommodation with breakfast, I was told that I was not entitled to the breakfast as there was no restaurant (even though I had paid more to get the breakfast). There was no apology or refund. I was then woken up at 330 in the morning due to a fire. I realised there was no security or 24 hour service desk, so no one was sure if there were people still in the apartment sleeping. The reason as to why they dont have security is because they are apartments, not a hotel.... Overall however, the apartment was located in an ok position, just a little off lane in the middle of nowhere. Also, inside it was modern and clean.

I don't usually bother to write a review about Hotels I've stayed in but Quest World Square has really made a great impression. The room was spacious, clean, modern and quiet and the staff were extremely helpful , polite and even cheerful. If I ever have the opportunity to hit Sydney again I know where I'll be staying... Go Quest !!!
